Nostalgic overtones,

This song opens up with simple, rhythmic piano chords overlaid with a vocal that has a nice acoustic feel (that is, it doesn't seem over produced). There are occasional orchestral flourishes that accent rather than intrude on the simplicity of the piece. Just over half way the tune shifts into a majestic chorus that nevertheless blends perfectly with the song's simple fabric. Overall it is a magically romantic tune with nostalgic overtones.
