5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Still Alive
Remembering being a young wife at the height of the Viet Nam era, I was amazed to see how the author handled this situation with a husband serving in Iraq. Barry Marshall made promises to his wife Elyse that, had he been in control, he would have kept. One month before he was to return home, Elyse received the dreaded visit. 2.0 out of 5 stars Unreal
I don't usually give bad reviews(If you don't have anything nice to say.....). The main characters just didn't seem real to me. There reactions to the whole situation just didn't seem real. "We can't have a baby while I'm alive but I'll leave my sperm in case I die" I don't know, I loved Ms. Riley's other books but this one was just not for me.

Her life, from this point on, was full of numerous surprises, shocks, and unbelievable decisions. The secondary characters entered keeping the suspense and the surprises moving as they became a major part of Elyse's life.

The flow of ALL I'LL EVER NEED was a thrilling ride, which left me flushed, pleased, and excited when it ended. I was left with two thought provoking questions when I finished the story. (1) Did Barry make his request out of guilt or love? (2) Could I have done what Elyse did?

Read ALL I'LL EVER NEED by Mildred Riley, to find out if you would want your son or daughter to make these tough decisions. Or to find out if you would you have made these decisions?
