Full featured system suitable for home or small business. All features work as advertized. Camera quality is well below what you get from an inexpensive camcorder; poor color and contrast; limited use at night. Wired alarm in/out terminals are very fragile making the system unreliable if placed where it may get moved. Monitor quality is excellent when used as a computer monitor. Set up is easily done as do-it-yourself, except for networking features which will require some computer knowledge. Installation instructions are accurate though somewhat abbreviated. Quickstart guide is excellent. Free DNS server and e-mail forwarding included. Remote viewing over internet is fast and full featured. System is complete, nothing else to buy.

I wired 4 cameras in the front of my house. Within 1 week it recorded 3 men trying to enter my home. I yelled "you're being recorded" and they ran. The DVR itself works great. The color picture from the cameras are fantastic and vivid. Night vision is fine, but better if you have a motion light outside. You can't go wrong if you want protection.
