A highly recommended tale of all-too-human ruthlessness,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: All the Lonely People (Hardcover)
All The Lonely People by David B. Silva is the horrific tale of a stranger who comes to an ordinary bar with a simple rosewood box, which was once used to trap spirits. The stranger opens the box... and everything starts to go to hell. Bizarre and terrible occurrences follow the bar's owner, who is subject to memory lapses and eroding sanity, until he finally learns the terrible truth of the box and must make a harrowing choice of life or death. In All The Lonely People, David Silva has carefully crafted, imaginatively gripping, authentically original, and very highly recommended tale of all-too-human ruthlessness.

This book tried to be deep but missed by a mile. Result was depressing and boring. I wish I had the 65 minutes back.
