About the Author

Diane Ruth Shewmaker has been an avid student and teacher of traditional, metaphysical and holistic healing arts for more than 20 years. She is a psychotherapist who brings this rich background and the experience of her personal soul path to her work as a highly gifted spiritual and intuitive counselor, teacher, healer and author. Diane is the creator of the Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki healing system and is a certified teacher of SKHM. She is also a certified teacher and practitioner of more than 10 other holistic healing systems, making her uniquely qualified to write about multidimensional energetic healing. As well, she is a certified spiritual counselor trained by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. Diane holds a master of arts degree in education and human development, with a major in community mental health counseling, and a bachelor of business administration degree in human resource management. Both are from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Diane has made clear and exciting what many others have reduced to meaningless ritual. Her descritions of the SSR attunement ceremonies, the meanings and uses of the many symbols, and the etiquettte and ethics of a healing session are marvelously clear and easy to follow. She has managed not only to create a book that is a joy to read, but also brought joy and purpose back into a field that has in recent years been flooded with pasty, commercialized manuals. Bravo Diane! Thank you for your work. This is a book that I will keep close for many years and will recommend to all my students!

When I opened the book and began to read about Seicheim, an Energy System I have been looking for more information on, I was delighted with the material. I felt it was well written, straight forward and very helpful for practitioners and anyone who is interested in Seichiem. It was as if I were in a class with Diane. I feel that anyone who is interested in working with energy will find the book very helpful. I do not know Diane and I have never taken a class with her or Patrick Zigler, but I am looking forward to taking a class from her very soon. Enjoy, the book is a Jewel.

I loved Diane's book. Patrick recommended this book to me and I'm glad he did. Diane has put a lot of time, love and effort into producing this book. I have found it very informative, well written and displayed. Two of my pupils have already purchased this book after seeing my copy! Another great book Diane!
