Great Artist, Great Songs, and what a shame......,

I was really looking forward to hearing this CD with its great selection of classic songs sung by a truely classic singer. What a total let down when I heard....well, kind of heard it. This is one of the poorest quality CD recordings I've ever heard. It's really a shame, or I should say a "SHAM". Some import CD's can be a crap shoot, well on this one drop the word shoot! I gave this CD every opportunity playing it on three different players and the end result was the same on all three. I even tried to re-process it in my own studio with zero results. This German label and the people that are responsible for quality control should be made to listen to this CD for 24 hours straight without a break. The sound quality is non-existant, sounding like it was over modulated during the transfer or mix-down to the final CD....Just Awful! If I were Miss Della I would seriously think about suing this label. Shame on Hallmark Music & Entertainment of Germany marketing this unlistenable CD. Della fans be warned...pass on this one!

Della Reese is the ultimate performer.Her voice is beyond description:amazingly powerful,expressive with flawless elocution and most original articulation,that requires much taste to be appreciated by real connoissers!Each song is a unique composition and none is like the other.After you listened to Della,the other blues or jazz stars seem colourless,despite their own qualities,they all are outcasted by Della's incredible temperament and talent.She is the alpha and the omega of song:she can sing everything,from gospel,blues to jazz and even classical music!!Della reese is without contest the BEST singer in the world!She has the trumpets of Jericho in her voice,and sings like an angel!She makes songs alive,she is not only an entertainer (actually the best) but she delivers a message in singing,of life,passion and joy.She is true and authentic and once you heard her,she put a spell on you forever!Moreover,she is gorgeous,and charismatic!Della Reese is the ultimate diva!
