5.0 out of 5 stars Great mixes, cool CD.
First of all, I'm a huge KoRn fan so this is probably a little biased.

Track 1, A.D.I.D.A.S. (Radio Mix): Not worth listening to, since if your buying this CD, you should already have Life Is Peachy and there's no point to listening to a song with that's been edited(no offense, but they don't really do that great of a job here).

Track 2, Good God (Dub Pistols...

Whether or not you need Korn's "All Mixed Up" release really depends on how much you follow the band. If you collect their imports and various other releases, and plan to continue, you will most likely scoop up all the material on here elsewhere. However, if you are a Korn fan on a budget, and aren't interested in tracking down all of their minor releases, "All Mixed Up"...

Track 2, Good God (Dub Pistols Mix): Good song, although the opening high-pitched squeal gets a little annoying but dies out after 30 seconds or so.

Track 3, Got The Life (Josh Abraham Remix): Great song, nice bass added to this mix, love the stereo panning on this track. Requires a loud system because this song just screams "Let's annoy the neighbors."

Track 4, Twist/Chi (Live): Same as the mix on Family Values '99. Not bad, but you should already have the other CD if you're getting this one.

Track 5, Jingle Balls: Unbelievable. KoRn should do a Christmas album, 'cuz this song rocks. Nothing quite beats Jon Davis singing Christmas Carols.

All in all, a must have CD for the KoRn fan. For the price, there's no point in not getting it if you like the band.

Whether or not you need Korn's "All Mixed Up" release really depends on how much you follow the band. If you collect their imports and various other releases, and plan to continue, you will most likely scoop up all the material on here elsewhere. However, if you are a Korn fan on a budget, and aren't interested in tracking down all of their minor releases, "All Mixed Up" is a worthwhile purchase. Originally released as a bonus disc for Korn's 1999 album "Issues" is Australia, "All Mixed Up" is a four song collection consisting of three remixes, one live performance and one unreleased studio track. The radio remix of "A.D.I.D.A.S." starts it off. We've all heard this version, it's the same as in the music video (and if you actually have a station that plays it, you heard it on the radio). It's a pretty useless addition. The Dub Pistols remix of "Good God" is definitely not up to par. There are probably more remixes for "Good God" than any other Korn song, and most of them are better than this. The Josh Abraham remix of "Got The Life," however, is probably the best I've heard of the song and is pretty hard to find (appearing only on the out of print "Falling Away From Me (2)" import single). The live performance of "Twist/Chi" is taken from the "Family Values '98" CD and chances are you already own that disc, but it is still a great performance. Finally, the last song, "Jingle Balls," Korn's second Christmas song, actually sounds nothing like Korn. Very interesting to hear, and it is probably worth buying this EP alone for. So there you have it. As I stated before, this release isn't really neccessary for completists, as you can find all this stuff anywhere else, but if you don't plan on scouting out all things Korn, this is a good, wallet-friendly place to stop.

3.0 out of 5 stars Room 4 Improvement but Good Enough 2 Purchase, February 8, 2004
This review is from: All Mixed Up (Audio CD)
1-A.D.I.D.A.S (Radio Edit) - To put this track on the album was pretty pointless when the song itself contains profanity...When the word F*** is used repeatedly in the track & edited out and replaced with a gargle it makes the song less appealing...

2-Good God (Dub Pistols Remix) - Although more than 3/4 of the song is different riffs and musical sounds this remix is still exhilerating as the original Good God track with more differnciating instruments to make it interesting.

3-Got The Life (Josh Abraham Remix) - Best track on the 5 song album...Got the Life remix combines more eerie sounds and a nice lyrics change up that makes it just as brilliant as the original track off Follow The Leader.

4-Twist/Chi Live - Great track... Jonathan Davis's vocals sound just as powerful and bare semblance to the original songs with a more meaningful display.

5-Jingle Balls - A very heavy track with distorted guitar playing and distorted vocals...Sounds just like the song Jingle Bells but with their own creative lyrics added in a portion of the song...

***All together worth buying but leaves room for improvement and more songs and better remixes could have been added or replaced.

^_^Nothing beats Jonathan Davis singing Christmas carols=D

They could've made this a lot better with soundtrack, rare, and remixes added into this. Instead theres a radio edit for A.D.I.D.A.S which is basically pointless. The remixes of Good God and Got The Life are just their songs with techno beats added in, but thats mostly all remixes consist of. "Jingle Balls" is a great song for all the doubters that think Korn couldn't be heavy if they tried. Well they tried and what happens is a very heavy and death metal style vocals. Overall I wouldn't buy this i'd just download Jingle Balls.

Songs that should've made it:
Alive (demo)
Layla (demo)
Blind, Predictable, and Daddy (demo versions)
I Can Remember
Proud
<Sean Olsen>
Kick The P.A.
Xmas Story
Lodi Dodi (live)
You Mean I'm Not (live)
Broken Soul (live)

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap price, five tracks some people may already have, June 10, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: All Mixed Up (Audio CD)
First off, this disc was originally included with an import version of Issues. It starts off with a two and a half minute radio version of ADIDAS. Something good about this version is rather than cutting out all of the dirty words, singer John Davis actually says different things in place of the dirty words, such as All Day I Dream about Humpin'. The second track is some sort of rave / club version of Good God (mostly instrumental), but it is remixed so well that you cannot even recognize it is Good God until four minutes into the song! Four minutes into the song there are finally vocal phrases "would you get the F out of my face," repeated over and over. It's a bad remix! The third track is a remix of Got the Life from Josh Abriham. It's a decent song, but it sounds like an extra drum and a longer introduction into the song were added. The fourth track is a live version of Twist / Chi straight from the Family Values 1998 tour disc. The final track is Korn's own version of Jingle Balls (Bells). I do believe this track was originally recorded some time around their first album, because John sings this song with a Death Metal voice (you would not even recognize his voice). It's a nice little ditty that lasts around three minutes.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm All Mixed Up about where KoRn was going with this, July 25, 2004
This review is from: All Mixed Up (Audio CD)
We have this sweet lil EP or whatever with four well-known korn songs and a remake of all of ours favorite christmas song. Only get this CD if you are a die-hard fan of KoRn like me, other than that it's not worth the money. Jingle Balls was kind of entertaining though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed up KoRn, May 28, 2004

Ok let's get one thing clear. Only get this 5 song EP if you are a huge fan of Korn, mainly in their Prime. (Self-Titled Up to Follow the Leader) And you like to own rare stuff (that's me!). This EP is out of print and has been for a while.

Ok with this out of the way let's get to the 5 songs.

1. A.D.I.D.A.S. (Radio Mix) 2/5. This should be titled RADIO EDIT, because that's exactly what it is. I must admit it is funny when you hear it the first few times, but still, its EDITED!!!

2. Good God (Dub Pistols Mix) 1/5 other then the samples of Jon's voice, this is not Good God and it's a horrible remix, they stretch the song out to 6:20!

3. Got the Life (Josh Abrams Remix) 4/5 this remix is actually pretty cool/good. Not annoying like the above.

4. Twist/Chi (live) 5/5 If you own the family values'99 disc then you already have it. I don't and don't plan to so I consider this a real treat, the sound quality is great.

5. Jingle Balls 6/5 Seriously this is the only real reason to get this thing, a Death Metal cover of Jingle Bells. It's hilarious and priceless, and heavy. Jon's voice is better here then on most of Take a Look in the Mirror.

So unless you like to have a collector's item every now and then, I wouldn't suggest you get this. But you should get this if you a looking for something that has Jingle Balls with more songs then the Falling Away from Me single. One more interesting fact, this originally was part of a 2 disc set that came with the European version of Issues. So if you get this and Issues, you pretty much saved some money instead of buying an overpriced import.

I could play Korn on one stereo and old school techno on the other...or I could just buy this CD. All it is is Korn with a little bit of techno dubbed over it. Not too creative. I bought it because I like Korn and it looked different, but its really not something to write home about.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: All Mixed Up (Audio CD)
This is a great CD if you are a fan of KoRn or, if you just like spending money for no reason (I spent 99 cents, when I purchased Untouchables). There is one song I wish they would have included on there: The "Freak on a Leash" remix which was on the "No Boundaries" compilation for the Kosovo refugees (How many of you remember that?!) or included the MTV "edited" version of "Freak" or "Blind" for all you hardcore KoRn fans! Buy this CD, if you want some songs that are already on the other CDs (with the exceptions of the remixes) except "Jingle Balls" (which should be on a Kevin and Bean (KROQ) X-mas CD if it's not already on one of the previous ones.

3.0 out of 5 stars A mostly muddled remix cd, March 5, 2001
This review is from: All Mixed Up (Audio CD)
I guess I was one of the lucky freaks that did not have a holepunched or cutout from this ep.Basically this disc claims that all the mixes on it are previously unreleased. Not to sure about that but there are two reasons to pick it up if you are a Korn fanatic like me! 1. ADIDAS(radio mix)-An edited mix of the original.Cannot compare this the original. All the cuss words are of course overdubbed.Skip it please.2.GOOD GOD(Dub pistols mix)-A truly awesome mix! One of the two reasons to pick this up.The mix is very danceable with all kinds of bleeps and deep bass sounds. All the intense singing parts are added to intensify the overall effect.Very cool!3.GOT THE LIFE(Josh Abraham Remix)A previously released remix.Very cool though.Sounds differ from industrial to acid to hard techno. Also a danceable tune.4.TWIST/CHI(live)-A live track taken from the Family Values '98 compilation. Not essential since this track was already available. The track does sound good live just like on the Values'98 cd.5.JINGLE BALLS-A definite reason to get this! It is the closest to death metal I have ever heard them.Jonathan has never sounded so evil! The song switches from slow to fast tempos kind of like their infamous "X-mas Song" found on their bootlegs.Cool as hell.Thanks.
