5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT THERAPY FOR MOMS!
EVERY mom in the world needs to read this book. I had so many "me too" moments while reading it. He captured and verbalized so many of my "motherhood" stresses and made me realize that I am not alone in this job! FABULOUS!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I hate to go negative on a book review, especially for a writer whose books I have enjoyed, but All Mom's Go to Heaven was a great disappointment to me.
I purchased this book on my Kindle and enjoyed the first part where the author talked about the summer of 1973 where he was the "mom" in his house raising the kids while his wife worked or went to classes.

I purchased this book to read to my wife at bedtime.

The first part of the book is really funny. His stories of a father's challenges of being home with and raising small children are hilarious. But after that, it shifts to what seemed to me of an old man going on and on about his kids and grandkids. I was getting bored reading it to my wife, and last night I said, "Is this getting boring?" She said it was, so I said, "How about if I just quit and read something else?" She liked that and I switched to another book.

Have you ever read a book where eventually you didn't care how it ended and reading it was a chore? I struggled thru 62% of the book on my Kindle before I gave up.

I would recommmend you save your money and just read the free sample. It is the best part. I have found Dean Hughes other books to be 4 or 5 stars, but not this one.
