This CD is so beautiful. The listener hears different dimensions and sides of Selena as a singer. You hear her flirtatious cumbias and tejano cuts, and then you hear her heartbreaking mariachi and slow pop songs. I reccomend all the songs, but "No Me Queda Mas," "Dreaming Of You," "I Could Fall In Love," "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," "El Chico del Apartemento 512," really stick in my head. They're infectious and full of soul. Buy this CD, everyone! This was the first Selena CD I ever bought, and you know I'm going to buy more. =)

Well I have to say this is probably her best album to get if you want both spanish and inglish hits this one just about has them all the popullar ones that is. I must say I was veary dissapointed in her other album titled her greatest hits only because it has all her inglish hits on one cd and I mean all of them. They don't skip one and you see thats what I thought wasent right her spanish stuff was really good to, infact her spanish songs like the ones on this cd those are her real hits the inglish wasent till later I just think they should have mabe thought about her spanish hits as well, and made a cd with all of them on it like the songs (Besitos and Tengo Ganas De Llorar). those are not even all the ones I wanted theres more then that but I have to say this cd has most of them but I still think they should make a greatest hits of all her spanish to. I mean it's like I said that is the real selena thats what she is known for is her spanish hits! Thats what really got her where she would have still been right now. I like you alot selena I miss you and I just whant poeple to remember that you have spanish songs that are really good to, not just your inglish. So get this cd it is the best deal you will be able to find cause other wise all her hits are scattered around on many of her other cds, and why hastle buying all of them when you can buy this one. It is a great cd and as for her greatest hits well....! shame! I "pitty" that one lets put it this way I only give it a 1 mabe to 3 star other then that no comment!

To be honest I have never been a fan of Selena, I don't remember hearing of her until around the time of her death. I have 3 daughters and we have rented the movie Selena and watched it over and over again, with tears every time. It was then that they repeatedly asked me to buy the cassette "Dreaming of You". I did and I can't say enough about how talented and beautiful Selena was. It makes you very sad when you think about the way she lost her life and at such a young age. My heart goes out to her parents and husband and brother and sister for their tremendous loss. Selena was a very versatile performer and being one who loves fashion and would like to get into the fashion industry, I love costumes she designed. The "Dreaming of You" CD is a very beautiful recording, from the Latin music to the American music. Thank you so much for making it available.

Selena was just amazing, and this album finely proves my point. Although i don't speak much Spanish, i still love her songs. My fave (Spanish songs) on here are 'Amor Prohibido', Como la flor' 'El chico del apartmento 512', and 'Bidi Bidi Bom Bom' although i listen to them ALL constantly. The ballads are beautiful, 'Dreaming of you' is just undescribable and 'I could fall in love' has the most haunting melody. I also love 'Que creias' and 'No me queda mas' as she sings these songs with so much meaning. The whole album is just perfect, even if you don't speak Spanish, i really feel Jennifer Lopez has a lot to answer for! Selena is by far my favourite singer and always will be, it's just awful that she died so young and so tragically.

My favorite song in the world by Selena has got to be Amor Prohibido. it is the most infectious melody in the world. Everywhere Selena went, she always had a smile on her face and had that magical way about her which always made everyone else want to smile. Selena's gorgeous voice and phenomenal beauty coupled with infectious pop tunes make her a sizzling hot success with nothing less than the world at her fingertips. She is so very much alive- through her songs and legacy. She is a rose which will never die. my favorite songs on here were Amor Prohibido, No Me Queda Mas, Como La Flor, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, No Debes Jugar, La Llamada, Missing My Baby, Dreaming of you, and I could Fall in love. tu solo tu is a heart-wrenching ballad which evokes from you the most devastating emotion and leads you to only one conclusion: there is NO one in the world who can convey emotions in her voice so effortlessly, seamlessly, and beautifully as Selena does. She has a magic touch and casts a spell on anyone who hears her. One song not included on this compilation, which definitely should have been, was Siempre Hace Frio. it is practically the twin sister to Tu Solo Tu. siempre hace frio, i believe, is her most powerful and emotional song of all. Overall, this CD was beautifully layed out, and its newly remixed hits, such as the magnificent No Me Queda Mas keep alive the everlasting Goddess that is the spirit, which is Selena.

Been year and half since someone put down a comment, so I will. I remember when I came home one day in Germany and my mum telling see saw on Galavision that a mexican singer was murdered by a fan. I asked her the name but she couldn't remember. I didn't think of it anymore until the day I went to the video store and saw a cover with Jennifer Lopez and the name Selena written on it. Immediatly I knew that that was the singer my mum told me about couple of years before. Took the film home and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. I just fell in love with Selena's music and with Selena as well, she seemed to be a great person to be around with. This was my first Selena CD and I don't regret of ever buying it cause it's just great. "No me queda mas" is my favourite. I must say I really don't like to hear Selena singing in english, don't get me wrong the songs are good, it's just that when I hear her singing in spanish, her voice comes out so strong and passionate, it's just beautiful. So everyone who wants to get to know Selena, this cd is the best! Get this one first and then the others... or just get them all at the same time, you won't regret it!! Selena, you're always in our hearts...

There are some great artists in time, whose compalations are a great addition to any music lover's collections. This is one of those artists and this is one of those compalations. no matter what you're in the mood for this CD has a way to satisfy. The music sometimes not as strong as Selena's vocals, but Selena the artist is able to transcend all that. Enjoy this great album, highly recommended.

I saw the film Selena for the first time this past November and immediately fell in love with her. I went out and bought this CD and i must say it's great. Before i bought this cd the only Selena song i knew of was Dreaming of You and now i know them all. I really can't fault any song on this album and in my opinion her Spanish songs are the best(even though i can't understand all the words). Como La Flor, Amor Prohibido, No Debes Jugar and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom are my fav!

I feel we lost a great talent in Selena! I enjoyed this CD because it had a variety of different music styles; e.g., cumbia, ballad, ranchero, modern and disco. Upbeat and easy to listen to.

I LOVE THIS CD AND I AM GLAD I BOUGHT , IT'S JUST THAT SOME OF SELENA'S HITS WERE NOT ON IT.

FOR EXAMPLE , VEN CONMIGO WAS NOT ON IT AND THAT WAS HER FIRST #1 BILLBOARD HIT!
