I'm a Chicago gal and being as such you find yourself a blues fan without even realizing it until it's pointed out to you. Johnnie Marshall's sound, whether foreground or background, adds a pulse and a sass to a party and even while doing the dishes. With a roommate that rarely does the dishes, it's one of my highest forms of praise. This album is a sure bet.
