All I can say is Wayne Brady is amazing he has made a secular Male R&Bish album that I can actually listen to all the way through. You hear all these others Jamie Foxx, Jaheim (Never had an album I could stomach more than three songs), and the endless list of wannabe black or black users like Justin Timberlake, Robin thicke, Jay Sean, Justin Bieber and the list goes on and on, none of them have solid albums or vocals like Wayne. Now you do have other great young male Soul artist like Anthony Hamilton, Cee-Lo, Michael Jackson (I know he wasn't young but great R.I.P!), Ginuwine, Case, Carl Thomas, R. Kelly & K. Young but some of them are so soulful that they are underrated and underused. Well you can add Wayne Brady to the list of soul men.
My favorite song is All naturally. The funny thing is when I told my black and islander friends about it they laughed and were like "Wayne Brady has a album?! What has the world come to..." However once they heard the song they were like what! They were hooked they kept begging to hear the song and were telling their friends. He has crafted some real music. I would love for him to make another album and maybe do a duet with Anthony Hamilton |
