four fine erotic contemporary romances,
This review is from: An All Night Man (Paperback)
"The Hunter" by Brenda Jackson. In San Diego private investigator Hunter wants to refuse the case because he fears how his client Mallory makes him feel. She ended their four months affair six months ago because he was not ready for a commitment. Now she wants him to investigate her brother-in-law who she fears is cheating on her sister after seeing him at the Hilton.
"Just Wanna Love Ya" by Joylynn Jossel. In Cincinnati, every Friday night Jai and her girlfriend Rissa go to Club Cream. This Friday night is different as she meets Sloan, who overtly shows how much he desires her. "Never Satisfied" by Kayla Perrin. In Toronto, Amani still fantasizes over her high school senior year teacher Aaron although a decade has passed. No man she has met before or since measures up to him, but although he was not much older than her he rejected her advances. Now he is in Coffee, Tea, and Me where she works and the reality is even better than the fantasy. "Fantasy Man" by Tamara Sneed. In Los Angeles in support of her family's firm, Olivia reluctantly serves as PR specialist to Hollywood action hero Clark. He prefers not to have her as his escort as she has been outrageously rude to him at her family gatherings. However, they both are stuck as her brother's wife is about to give birth and her parents are in Africa. These four erotic contemporary romances entertain the audience with minor but fun conflict and plenty of heat between the likable couples. Harriet Klausner

Up All Night!,
By AC (Baltimore) - See all my reviews
This review is from: An All Night Man (Paperback)
That's exactly what I was doing trying to finish this book! I must admit that I had a pre-conceived notion that it would be good and was not let down at all!
BJ's "The Hunted" was sweet and erotic all at once. JJ's "Just Wanna Love Ya" was refreshing, an urban twist to erotica that I found very enjoyable. KP's "Never Satisfied" was just that. I wasn't satisfied, I wanted this to be a full fledged novel! TS's "Fantasy Man" I really enjoyed, especially the barn scene! I'm about to visit me a farm. Each author delivers a very sensual tale with interesting storylines.

Just a few comments,
By Ann (Knightdale, NC United States) - See all my reviews

This book comes with an erotic caution.
Brenda Jackson: "The Hunter" - Mallory & Hunter broke up 6 mos. ago because she wanted more and now she thinks her sister's husband is cheating so she hires him to investigate. Fate gives Hunter another chance to win the woman he couldn't forget. 5* Joylynn Jossel: "Just Wanna Love Ya" - Interracial Romance characters are BW/IM meet at bar while hanging out with friends. Jai's best friend is white and claims Sloane at first sight to be the man she's marrying--Sloane wants Jai which causes animosity between the two "best" friends. Though, Sloane's behind closed doors love for Jai was disappointing he redeems himself.. somewhat 3* Kayla Perrin: "Never Satisfied" - Rachel is divorced, she just broke up with her maybe borderline psycho boyfriend-Earl and her ex-teacher whom she had a crush on 10 yrs. ago re-enters her life. This was OK, but the Earl plot seemed incomplete 3* Tamara Sneed: "Fantasy Man" - Great story, both characters hide their attraction until the a limo ride brings them up close and personal. There are a few editing errors but other than that I give it 5* These are short stories which I don't mind reading (if I'm in the mood for something quick) as long as it's complete story. Different strokes for different folks, I enjoyed reading all 4, was never bored and even after reading the caution I was surprised at just how erotic these stories were.

I wonder if some of you readers can go straight to bed after reading this.,

Brenda Jackson, Joylynn Jossell, Kayla Perrin and Tamara Sneed have done there thing in this book. Each author has developed great characters plus romantic and pleasurable stories. One of the pet peeves that I have regarding short stories is that once a story pulls you in it quickly spits you out while leaving you wanting more.
"The Hunter" by Brenda Jackson is about sexy Hunter who is a P.I. by trade and a playa by choice. His ex girlfriend Mallory ended their four months affair six months ago because he was not ready for a commitment. Now she wants him to investigate her brother-in-law who she fears is cheating on her sister after seeing him at the Hilton; as a result to this old feelings spark right back up. After reading this I was quite please. Brenda did not disappoint me on this story. "Just Wanna Love Ya" by Joylynn Jossel is about party girl Jai who goes out every Friday to "Club Cream" for her weekly fix. But what she finds in Sloan might be all the medicine she needs because later on he overtly shows her how much he desires her. This wasn't bad but was least of my favorites and was my first read by this author. In "Never Satisfied" by Kayla Perrin we have single Amani who is tired of the blind dates and one-night stands. But those days are over when an old crush returns to rekindle her flame, Amani still fantasizes over her high school senior year teacher Aaron although a decade has passed. No man she has met before or since measures up to him, but although he was not much older than her he rejected her advances. As he steps in "Coffee, Tea, and Me" where she works and the reality is even better than her fantasy's. Kayla did a great job with this story and ended up being one of my favorites. I just wish it was a full fledge book because there was so much to tell from what these characters were going through. Finally we have "Fantasy Man" by Tamara Sneed. We have Olivia, who reluctantly serves as PR specialist to Hollywood action hero Clark. He prefers not to have her as his escort as she has been outrageously rude to him at her family gatherings. Meanwhile we fine the dinner plans for VIP Clark Stone can't compete with his plans for the pleasure afterwards. This story was really good and was my second favorite. This was the first time reading from this author as well. The barn scene was hot makes you want to fine a farm nearby. "An All Night Man" is sure to make its readers pull an all-nighter. The stories here were all so different. They all worked with the same theme yet each author approached it in such a wide range of variety. I enjoyed the book and I think other readers will too.

There's nothing better than coming home from a hard day's work (or even in the middle of the day if you like a little spice in your life) and having your spouse or significant other treat you to some serious, hot and heavy TLC. If only for a little while, the cares of the world take a back seat to everything as you are treated to satisfaction of the most intimate nature. If you don't have someone to curl up with, I invite you to come and take a sensuous ride with Hunter, Sloan, Aaron and Clark, the gorgeous and sinfully desirable heroes in the spicy, yet romantic, tales that are featured in AN ALL NIGHT MAN.
If you're looking for a hot read for those cold, winter nights, look no further. Each novella borders on the erotic, without being tasteless and trashy; instead they promote a desire to love and be loved. Brenda Jackson, Joylynn Jossell, Kayla Perrin and Tamara Sneed have each developed characters and stories that will have you saying "oo la la" and grabbing a fan or an ice cold glass of water to cool you down. AN ALL NIGHT MAN is sure to make its readers pull an all-nighter, not only because you're caught up in each story, but also because, well you know... Good!!!!!!!!!,
By Lady K "Babygirl" (Savannah, Ga) - See all my reviews
This review is from: An All Night Man (Paperback)
All of these stories were good. The first is about a woman who reenters the life of a man she once loved, only to find out he had no intentions of settling down. Now Mallory need Hunters help because she believe her sister's husband is cheating, but can she stand being around Hunter for business reasons only? The second book is about a woman (Jai) who is definitely not looking for love, but after a one night stand with handsome Sloane, she may have to rethink her position. The thrid book is about a woman (Rachel) who has never been happy with a man, maybe because inside she has carried feelings for one man, who at the time, were off limits to her. Once the man reenters her life she may discover why she has never been satisfied. The last story is about a woman (Olivia) who has secretly had a crush on one of Hollywood's cutest bad boys. Trying to help her brother out she has agreed to entertain Clark, but when alone with him she may find entertaining the bad boy wasn't such a good idea, or was it?????????
