The world of the ambitious, unprincipled adventuress who is the protagonist of All Night Movie, is one of fabulous characters, settings, and scenarios that remove one from the everyday world into a new and exciting place where women are in control of their destinies, and ,even when they are not, are able to take charge in unusual and interesting ways. Ideas of linear plot do not apply to this verbal whirlwind which is even better on second reading.
