Disappointment,

I should have looked at the last printing date.Perhaps in 1994, it was useful, but it is no longer necessary to have brand names listed in a separate book. For several years now, each item is labeled quite clearly. There were 20 useful pages of fast food items, but other than that, nothing.

I have had this book for over three years now and whenever I have needed to refer to it it has done its job. I can only tell you that if you are on or going on a diet this is the book to have. I have gone on a diet three different times and each time with the aid of this book to help me keep things on track. I lost fifty pounds the first time took a breather but maintained my weight loss and lost fifty more the second time and then took a breather and just maintained again now I am on the last leg of my goal weight and am finding it as easy as ever to handle. Thank you Jean Carper for being there!

The book does unfortunately not differentiate between the forms the calories are delivered; fat / protein / carbs !
