This is my favorite of the Winans albums. "If he doesn't come tonight" is, in my opinion, on of the greatest songs of all time. What a great song to witness to someone with. Great vocals and an excellent message in the words. Deffinately have to listen to this song a couple of times to realy grasp it.

i mean this is my favorite release by the winans..every song shines but my fave would have 2 be 'tradewinds" this album should be in the hall of fame or something

This is DEFINITELY one excellent gospel album!!"Payday"starts the album off,with comforting/reassuring words,that the believers"reward"for remaining loyal to Christ(though long in arriving)is GOING to come soon enough,and that they should not yield to the temptation to give up/throw in the towelbecause things appear hopeless,and nothing seems to be going"right"in their walk with King Jesus,but to instead,keep their eyes on the"prize"and perservere to"hold on"to the promise of their(GLORIOUS)"payday"!! "It's not Heaven"is a GREAT song that conveys' how most believers,long to get to Heaven,to witness/partake in its' grand splendor and astonishing beauty,but here,it's being mused that if somehow King Jesus Christ is NOT going to actually BE there,then it's NOT going to be MUCH of a paradise/utopia!! "It's NOT Heaven,if You're not there!!" "Heaven is ANY place You might be!!" "Because You ARE Heaven!!" Laylah Hathaway sings BEAUTIFULLY while relating this message!! The song"All You Ever Been Was Good"is something EVERY Christian just HAS to admit as far as the Lords dealings in their lives'..." "That Extra Mile"discusses how King Jesus,has the kind of love for His Children,that He is willing to perform the MIRACULOUS,in order to do good unto them!! "If He Doesn't Come Tonight"is an absolutely EXCELLENT song/"commentary"on most peoples doubt that Jesus is EVER coming back,whether soon or otherwise!! This song showcases a saint who CONTINUES to old fast to Jesus'promise of His return for His followers..These following lines are EXTREMELY faith-filled:"If He doesn't come TODAY,I'll be looking for it ANYWAY!!"and"And SHOULD it take a MILLION years,WHEN it happens,I'll be STANDING here,and Your smile will have been WORTH the WAIT,free at last I'll be home to stay,RAPTURED AWAY!!"This song is an example of how ALL believers should feel about Christs'INEVITABLE return!! "Heaven Belongs To You"is a song that clearly spells out to a saint,how they must conduct themselves to assure themselves a "spot"in Heaven,when all is said and done..This is a song that has long been sang in my church in every Service!!"PayDay"is an encouraging song that reminds a saint,just WHY,they must go through the trials and temptations of life,and yet remain steadfast in the pureness and holiness of Jesus Christ..Because their "PayDay"(an ETERNITY of untold peace and happiness in Heaven)is soon to come!!"Love Will Never Die"is abeautiful oh,so true song about"true"unconditional/undying love featuring the STUNNING/ASTONISHING vocals of Kenny Loggins!!"Heaven Belongs To You"is oh SO emphatic in its' descriptions of Heaven,with:Somebody TOLD me,that,eyes have never SEEN,all the beauty we shall behold!!" "Somebody told me,that all the streets are made of GOLD the streets are made of GOLD,where no one will ever grow old!!" Along with the Scriptually accurate:"There are TWELVE gates to the City,TWENTY-FOUR Elders in the City!" "There's a river running through the middle!!" "Where the trees are for the HEALING of the nations!! ""NO more pain,NO MORE fear!!"is sang with bone-chilling emphasis!! "We'll all be welcomed in Heavens' door,where we'll live FOREVERMORE!!" "We'll stand together as one,and we'll all REJOICE,when we hear:"WELL DONE!!" Very true is the line:"It's yours,for the ASKING!!"along with:"NO ONE CAN TAKE IT away,it's yours FOREVERMORE!!" The MOST important/key line/observation is:"He DIED,so YOU could live..in Heaven!! My favorite track on this(superb)disc is"He Said Go"The reason being,it teaches everyone(Saints and Sinners alike)an excellent lesson on mercy and forgiveness,and never to judge too HARSHLY or look down TOO far,on someone who is still in BONDAGE to sin..It chronicles an episode in the Bible where a woman was caught in the act of fornication(an offense punishable by DEATH(via STONING!!)and those who had witnessed her sin,wanted to indeed take her life,on the SPOT!!Along comes Jesus Himself upon this drama,the woman nervously explains her delimma and DANGER to Him and then proceeds to ask Jesus what would HE have to happen to her as a result of her sin. Jesus calmly(and mercifully)replies:"Go,and sin no MORE." which brings this question to the forefront:"How many of us,would display the SAME mercy on a prostitute or a simply whorish woman?!? I love the part of this song where these following words are EMPHATICALLY sang:"He told her to GO!!"

The CD arrived in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've always dug&Respected the Winans but I didn't always Buy alot of there stuff.I happen to discover that R.kelly did some tracks with them&I was like I gotta Peep that out.well the results are nice For SHO!"PayDay" is a Good track.I enjoyed there Singing&the overall Production&Writing on this Set.it was good hearing Kenny Loggins on this Album as well.
