Good album,

This is a good album. The reason i didnt give it 5 stars is that i am not feeling the beats as much. Some of the beats are really nice, like windows, and the immigrant, but there are some weak tracks lyric wise and beat wise on this album. The content of a few tracks on this album just doesnt fit with the flow of the rest of the album. It is well worth the money though, the good tracks on this album amazed me. Windows is one of the stand-outs. Buy it, although not ALL the tracks are first-rate, the album is well worth it.

If ur a fan of living legends u need to buy this record. To me the beats sound like Almost Famouse LL meets Classic LL. The lyrics are better than ever. Grouch and Luckyiam Psc wit features from murs, brother Ali, slug. Quite simply just another Legendary Music classic!

probably the best non-def jux LL album,

Honestly, the other reviewer said it best: this is the best Living Legends album (EXCEPT for MURS 'beginning of the end'--that's another must-buy). Luckyiam.PSC is incredible on this album, his flow is crisp, agressive, and just plain sounds better than he usually does, and he's diversified his subject matter. Grouch is Grouch, which means you can count on the ill voice, delivery and startligly poetic imagery. The beats are EXTREMELY dope, different-sounding from really any other LL album (except the aforementioned MURS album). The concepts are stupendous (Good side/bad side, the immigrant, jane's a groupie). That completely insane track with Del on it has been banging out of my Camry all week. (Del's definitely freestyling on that track). I kinda wished Slug and MURS had actually done verses, but that's a minor gripe--after all, it is a "Grouch and PSC" album. Compared to when I was a kid, most hiphop now just sucks. Thank God for the Living Legends.

Have you heard that new CMA?,

This is a good hip-hop album. It's good. It doesn't compete with some regular Living Legends stuff, or solo Living Legends like Murs and Grouch (who coincidentally is on here). There are many ways in which I felt this album could have been one of the best Legends releases, for instance if they could have shaved off from of the "flab" from the middle part of the CD and made it about 11 tracks long then I would have liked it a lot more. I disagree with whoever didn't like the beats. They're not very in-your-face, but they are all pretty good and the sampling on tracks like Windows is amazing. One thing I also like a lot is the different people this album featured. Generally the Legends don't stray to far from home on collaborations, however on "All Over" they have quite a few songs featuring Rhymesayers which is cool. Not to mention a glimpse of Del Tha Funkee Homosapien (even though the track hes in isn't that great in my opinion). All in all, this would probably be a buy, it's a feel-good album and I'm gonna say most hip-hop fans would enjoy it.

This album is ill,

This is the illest Living Legends album to date. All the trakcs are awesome with the exception of 10. It just didn't feel like the rest of the tracks. PSC flows incredibly and sounds unlike any of the other tracks he's rapped on. It's the same with Del and Brother Ali. They don't even sound like they usually do but you can tell it's them by their flow and lyrics. There is no hit track on this, they're all ill. Get this album if you are a Grouch and PSC fan.
