Likable heroine; the hero had an ego that needed puncturing, though.
I felt for the heroine, feeling like an Ugly Duckling, and despised her parents (and siblings) for the way they treated her. I much preferred her "chosen sisters" instead. Hello? When one sibling stabs another in the back, a parent needs to step up and TELL the betrayER that her behavior is NOT ACCEPTABLE. They should NOT expect the betrayed one that she has to make peace because the betrayer is faaammmiiilllyyy!

I never miss a chance to pick up a Sarah Mayberry book! She does a great job weaving an interesting plot, building well-rounded characters, and making me laugh out loud. This book was no exception! If you haven't read Sarah before, don't miss out. Start with Take On Me (Harlequin Blaze), then read this one. I can't wait for Hot For Him (Blaze) next month!!
