This book is essentially an essay written by someone who has kept and loves pigs. He is very enthusiastic about pigs, and discusses their likes, their dislikes, and their quirks, giving an insight into the life of a pig that most children probably will never get to see first hand.

My children especially loved the part of the book where the author 'interprets' what different pig grunts might mean in humanspeak - very, very funny, indeed!
