I bought this generator for 2 reasons. 1 for emergency power backup 2. price point. The price was reasonable. I found out why... It isn't even close to quality as you would expect. The specs indicate that it runs at 60hz. Well in fact it runs at 64hz which is way off if you need a constant 60hz as all of your electronic devices need. Sure it will run a light or small electric heater. But unless you want to buy a new TV don't use this on it. The Unique technology does not function. Don't run your computer or electronic devices from it.

Pros:
It starts and runs
It will function as promised at 3,500 watts

Cons:

It will damage your electronics
it operates at 64hz constant.
Loud and sounds like it is shaking apart

I was given this as a gift and it does not work. The voltage between netural and hot is correct, but there is a 71 and 46 voltage between ground and hot, and ground and neutral, respectively. Manufacture said the voltage regulator was bad. I replaced that and still the same issue only the voltages dropped by a 2 volts.
