I can't stop playing it! Even after my children were lulled to sleep, I played it again and again. You are the new and improved Sara McLachlin combined with Linda Ronstadt. I want to buy a CD for everyone I know who is having a baby or has had one. I hope to hear another CD of Grown-up tunes soon.

Well, I saw other amazingly positive reviews of this CD and bought it. It IS good -- but not great. I barely recognized some of the songs -- and I had been singing them to my baby! If you like very slow, melodic and NOT standard versions of standard baby lullaby songs, you will love this CD. But if you have trouble tolerating independant variations of old standards, you may be disappointed. I have to admit that I was.

I went to order this album for a friend who is having a baby soon. I could couldn't believe it had only one review. I could have sworn there was previously much more feedback-I ordered it for my baby on Amazon. Not seeing the feedback it deserves, let me be the second to HIGHLY recommend this CD. Is is beautiful! The arrangements are different enough to keep your interest after the upteenth lullaby, but still familiar enough to soothe you and your little one. My only complaint? My little man is now 3 and we actually wore this CD out after many, many nights with auto-repeat on his CD player. Perhaps ordering it again will ease my conscience when I copy the CD I am ordering for my friend, so that we can have a few more years of enjoyment!
