Obviously, I bought this for my steam cleaner, so I would have a set to use and a set to wash. The directions clearly state that this product is NOT to be dried in the drier or it will lose it's micro-fiber(dirt adhering) properties. Unfortunately this is not printed on the product itself, only on the papers that came with it. My daughter, home from college, found these at the bottom of the washer and helpfully threw them in the drier with her fresh laundry. I wish I had used a laundry marker to write "do not dry" on them before I used them. There is also a notation about not using dry detergent to wash them. Be careful if you buy these!

I love my steam mop and I love the refill pads, two sets that come with the mop are not enough if you don't want to wash them with other things. I have animals in a rainy climate. Finally I can keep my kitchen and bathroom floors clean with these. You don't get skunked every time you pull your mop out. Buying new foam mop heads was expensive and all those scented disposable products were dreadful. I find dirty cleaning tools no fun to use. I love this mop. It sets up clean. I love washing these covers all together once a week and taking them clean out of the washer. Simple but gratifying.

I have a complaint about this product--Amazon always has more products that other customers have bought when they buy the steam mop. One of these is the Euro-Pro XT3501 All-Purpose Micro-Fiber Cleaning Pockets 2 pack. I bought this thinking I was getting extra pads for the steam mop. When it came, they were for an extra large version and I didn't have the extra large gizmo you put the pads on. I checked and to get this extra large gizmo and two cleaning pads cost about $40 or a third of the price of the steam mop I had purchased. So I sent the extra large pads back. Amazon said it was my fault and so they are charging me return postage. I really think Amazon was guilty of deceptive advertising. The name of the extra large pads has no indication of the extra large size of the pads. Live and learn. Buyer beware.

I know the brand name says "Shark" like the originals that came with our steam mop, but they were unusable from the very first time we tried them, and we had to throw them away. They are made of a different fabric which does not glide over the floor smoothly like the pads that came with our mop. Also, unlike the originals, they were almost impossible to stretch over the mop head, very tight and non-stretchy.

After finally getting one pad on, I struggled for half an hour to push the mop over the floor, but there was so much friction, and it was so hard to push, I just gave up. I ended up washing the original pads, and put them back on damp and reused them. We are hoping to find some pads identical to the original at the store.

I was under the impression from the description that the pads would be like the originals. They are not. They are just small enough that the corner seam has started to come apart after one use. Because they are so much thinner, the steam makes them so wet it is harder to push and pull they back and forth. I'll make it work but I can tell I will have to order more pads soon. I will definately will go directly through the Shark Company and I may pay a bit more but it will be worth it.

I ordered these for my mom so she could have uninterrupted cleaning with her Shark Pocket Steam Mop. She loves it. She used to waste money on the Swifter cleaning system. These do a much better job, for less money, and the pads wash up nice in the washing machine. The Shark Pocket Steam Mop will pay for itself in a very short time.

The XT3501 contains great name-brand replacements of the normal rectangle and triangle size heads for the deluxe steam mom. The reviewer comment about XL head must have ordered something other than the XT3501. These fit perfectly on the triangle head and normal rectangle head of the deluxe steam mop (not the original Shark), and don't fit the XL head. They are the name-brand replacements, so you can expect them to work the same as the original, no better or worse. They work perfectly as expected for me.

I bought 4 packs of these so I can conserve and wash a whole load of just these together once a year. I bought a cheap trash can I keep in the garage to stow the dirty ones until I have enough to wash them instead of washing just two. You shouldn't wash these with other items to avoid lint from other items. Always remember to avoid dryer sheets as the instructions state.

I hardly ever review products but I feel the need to warn potential customers. My experience with these replacements were pretty unpleasant. The fibers on this replacements aren't like the mop pads that come with the steamer which look like a car wash mit with individual hairs on them. Instead this product is like a sham towel when you wash your car. The friction it creates when mopping takes a normally one handed job and makes it into a two handed job requiring you to out your back into pushing the mop. I think the pad might pick up more dirt than the original pad but the replacements are hard to get on and the material seems to be of a cheaper quality. I recommend spending the extra money and buying exact replacements.

This is hard product to find locally in retail stores so when I found it online, I was delighted. The seller got it to me on time for a reasonable price
