Now Leaving, Destination Acostination,

He's back. And you will notice it about 30 seconds into the first disc. He delivers a hard punch on this first disc (which is by far the better of the two). Starting the mix with Escape really takes you far away from Kansas. The second song Polarity really shows you the old Acosta style. And from here on out he just keeps sucking you out, bringing you back, with a harder sound each time (playing a little game with himself probably called top this). If you liked Cosmic Gates second disc from their back 2 back album, then this first disc will have a place in your heart. He brought Zonderland from that album and finishes with the banging vocal track my Marco V. The second disc is unique for Acosta fans. Close to like a bonus disc/slash studio album at the end. He stirs up a nice intro with some nice vocals and some euphoric trance (that's right this is not a dark disc). Then he fades AOL out perfectly into his studio tracks. Well the vocalist he brought in is perfect for the beats he has cooked up in this epic adventure. Also throws in a great remix of the old 80's tune Blue Monday (With an electro voice). The ending of this disc was probably my favorite part (he thanks us the only way Acosta knows how, through music). Well buy it. Like you didn't already. haha.

Absolutely Amazing,

If you like progressive trance, this CD will blow your mind. It's one of those CDs that you don't have to tell your friend "Hey, number 2 is good" because numbers 1-12 on both CDs are spectacular. The intense feeling captured by this album is enough to make one forget completely about everything else just for the moment, and be completely carried off by pure sound. Progressive Trance fans will NOT be dissapointed.

This is George Acosta's best DJ-mix set yet! ALL RIGHTS RESERVED is a flawless comp. from beginning to end, and this may end up being the best mix of Trance I have ever heard. There is not one bad track on this mix, and the way it opens with Airbase's "Escape" is just dark and haunting, but a perfect way to begin this immaculate set. It is too hard to highlight any of the particular mixes because all are just awesome! Within these two-cds, Acosta has an excellent mix of Trance, Hard Trance, and even some tinges of Electro thrown in. I also really liked how George mixed out of DJ Tommy Boy's "AoL" and into his productions, which the last five tracks on CD2 are George Acosta's own produced material. Eventhough he just faded out of "AoL" and into "Mellowdrama," he was saying by the fade.. I hope you enjoyed the mix now onto some of my work. And of course, the tracks prior to "Mellowdrama" and after, are mixed perfectly by Acosta. I love his beatmatching and his creative skills of going into each new mix.
I have listened to Trance for about seven or eight years now, but I have really gotten into it the last four or five. I discovered George Acosta with his HISTORY OF TRANCE in 2004. I then proceded to buy some more of his CDs, and I've been blown away by them all, but not as much or as quickly as with ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. A friend bought this set the same day I did, and he has almost gone deaf from listening to it non-stop and volume pumped up. From CD1 track 1 to CD2 track 12 you will be in Trance Heaven with this set! I reccommend all of George Acosta's CDs, but my favorites are: MIAMI (CD2), TOUCHED, THE LOST WORLD, and AM EDITION. To all Trance fans.... you must buy ALL RIGHTS RESERVED!!! The best of 2006, and quite possibly the best mix of Trance you will ever hear!

I'm not the most avant garde trance/techno enthusiast. I've no idea where the genre is headed these days or who's who right now. But I really like some of what I would call the "classic" trance/techno sounds on these two CD's. I dropped it onto my iPod and have listened to it on a couple of plane trips. Then again, I've been a fan of George Acosta for years and pretty much like everything he's done. True, much of it sounds similar, but then that's what I'm buying his music for. I do my exploring in other genres. George is like comfort food for my ears. I did think that Miami wasn't his best, but for some reason I like All Rights Reserved a lot more and put it up with Awake and Next Level, which are probably my favorites.

I've just got like 5 techno / trance CD's off amazon from various artists and this is the only one I was like 'finally getting my moneys worth'. This set has a 'keep you going' kind of pace...love it!

If you're looking for all-around hypnotizing, dance-until-your-heart-stops trance, your search is over. This is, by far, one of George Acosta's better mixes along with "Lost World." Don't believe me? Have a listen for yourself, and read the other customer reviews.

Another energetic offering from the top US trance DJ.,

It may have well been called Back to the Lost World, or Lost World 2, as Disc 1 is a very solid, high energy offering not unlike his last mix CD. If you liked Lost World, don't even hesitate to pick this one up. What I especially found interesting was his choice of tracks that had a lot of breakdowns. After sinking down to an ambient like spot in the track, they would quickly pump back up into this high BPM mix. George has now consitently proven that his a master at picking some of the best trance out there.
I really liked the shortened mix on disc 2, before getting to his own tracks, as some of the best trance is found here, including Riley & Durrant's Neon Eyes, and perhaps the best track on either mix, Martin Roth's Shockwaves. Actually, the only part of this 2 disc set that I wasn't too pleased with was George's own tracks. I liked the Blue Monday update, but all of the other tracks, with the exception of Trust, just didn't do it for me. They were ok, but nothing special. Getting back to Trust: after Can't Sleep by Above & Beyond, it's the 2nd best vocal trance track I've heard this year. It's features gorgeous vocals and an incredible melody! For barely a few dollars more than the price of a single disc mix, you are getting a full disc mix, another smaller mix on disc 2, and 5 tracks by Acosta, with 1 being a must have this year. All the way around, purchasing this one is an easy decision.

As digital music is becoming the norm and printed CD's are increasingly harder and harder to find, I am pleased to have Amazon.com help me with special purchases. Witness, George Acosta's "All Rights Reserved" a disc that's been around for a while. I was shopping for other items, and I decided to add this to my cart after reading high praise from other listeners.
His consistent Miami spin on trance/electronic music is fresh and always delivers great sound. I love loading his discs into my Benz player and blasting it as I commute from Phoenix to Las Vegas through the desert. This collection is as great on the road as it is in the home. Keep these collections coming.

After reading all the positive reviews for this product I felt I could buy this with fairly good confidence. This is my first George Acosta CD and I doubt I'd try another one.
I have a modest Trance collection that includes Tiesto, Van Buuren, Corsten, Thrillseekers, Above & Beyond, and others so I've heard quality trance and I know what I like. The first disk in this album was very repetitive. I could barely tell the songs apart, and when the first vocal song came on to break the monotony I could hardly believe it was already on the 8th track. I was especially surprised to see such good reviews given to the first disk while the second disk received lesser fanfare. It was the opposite for me, strangely. While I couldn't wait for the first disk to end, the second was much better. It was much more pleasant to listen to and didn't have the same flat beat that permeated through 1. Even my brother who rides in my car from time to time and hears (and likes) most of my trance music said of disk one while it was playing, "Wow, this is pretty boring. I don't really like it." So there you go. Two reviews for the price of one. |
