THE ALL-SEASON BACKYARD BIRDWATCHER

My kids tease me and say I am getting old because I enjoy watching and feeding birds. Not so say I! I am just a littler wiser and like to take time to smell the roses or watch the birds!

This book is awesome. It's chock full of beautiful pictures of all types of birds, tips on how to attract birds to your yard, building bird houses, trying to create a natural habitat for various birds, and how to identify birds.

There are illustrations, projects for everything and anything bird, what types of food to purchase for your feathered friends. The best part, for me, is the section regarding the common backyard species. Each species has its own page, complete with total information regarding that bird. The pictures are wonderfully bright and beautiful. My favorite birds are cardinals and hummingbirds. Love the song of the cardinal and who doesn't love watching a tiny little hummingbird go about his/her business?

If you are into bird watching or know someone who is, this is the absolute perfect book for you! Would make a fantastic gift for anyone!
