I have a bad deer problem that has been going on for years. I tried Deer Fortress this spring and this is the first year I had lilies in bloom. The deer are all around and try to nibble at everything I have so I go back out and put out more Deer Fortress. So far, I have been able to control the deer this year. I hope to have as good luck next year.

I live in northern NJ on the NY state border where the deer population is a nightmare for gardeners like myself. I had been using a product with great success for nine years (Bobbex), when all of a sudden, last summer, it no longer deterred our resident deer population and they annihilated my gardens. I was very hopeful about this product and so, ordered 7 6-packs. The night I received them I opened one package and placed the cannisters relatively closely (4' apart) in a single garden. Two days later, the emerging foliage had been eaten to the ground. It did not good whatsoever. I immediately shipped the other six packages back, disgusted.

Home and Beyond was very gracious, refunded me in full for the six packages and explained that although some areas of the country do well with this product, others do not. And so, please save your money if you are located anywhere near me. This product might has well have been tap water for all the good it did.

We purchased a 6 pack of DeerFortress and the product was promptly shipped and received in 2 days. We unpacked and unwrapped as in the instruction and placed them in our yard as recommended. We thought for the next couple weeks they seemed to be working as the geranium blooms remained in tact. Then it happened. a 30foot row of geranium blooms were mostly gone. Snipped off at the bloom same as before. Product appears to be like others we've tried. Didnt work for us.

I installed the product as instructed, but the deer ate the plants despite it. A waste of money.

I've tried many deer repellants in the past and for the 1st time in many years I've been able to see my daylily blossoms thanks to DeerFortress. I've shared this with friends and neighbors who have reported similar results.

I've used the Deer Fortress for two seasons. All the neighbors lose their bedding plants to the deer and ours are usually untouched.

The deer fort ress have been down for about 1 month and have had no signs of deer. So alls well that ends well.

The first year I was in my new home I planted hundreds of bulbs, in the spring I excitedly waited for the first blooms, right before the tulips were about to open I woke up one morning to find them eaten to the ground...I was ready to fight back! Deer Fortress was recommended by my local hardware store and to my amazement the deer actually changed their path and no longer walked through my yard. It has been three years now and I haven't lost a single plant...thanks to Deer Fortress!

My daughter's gardner introduced this product to us. My daughter's gardner ordered 24 for her and she gave me six and then I ordered 12 more.
I plan to order 18 next spring and I know my daugher will too.
I have 300 roses to protect and your product really helped the ones that were not fenced in with deer netting. They did nibble all the buds off the one rose bush out front so I hung one of those round things on a stake in the middle of the rose bush and they haven't been back since. How long will this product protect my bushes through the winter or please email me and let me know I long I should expect protection from this product?

We've tried a number of deer repellent products, and this one works well. Especially suitable for smaller plants (where the included spikes are tall enough to hold the little canister "overhead") or situations where you can hang the little canister over the area to be protected by a string.

Buying this product through Amazon saved us a nice chunk over local sources.
