4.0 out of 5 stars Cool Game......
This game is pretty good. If you are on a road trip in the car I would highly reccomend this game. The only thing that ... me up is that after every season game you have to write down a password. I keep losing my passwords! The graphics are O.K., but every player looks exactly alike; a skinny black player that looks almost dead. One more ... is the player advantages...

3.0 out of 5 stars All-Star Baseball 2000 is ok
This game is fun for road trips and vacations if you can't bring the N64 version with you. Although the game is fun, challenging and addictive, the main problem with it is that it takes a long time to change batters as the player is forced to watch the batter run back to the dugout and the next batter run up to the plate after a strikeout. This game is fun for road trips and vacations if you can't bring the N64 version with you. Although the game is fun, challenging and addictive, the main problem with it is that it takes a long time to change batters as the player is forced to watch the batter run back to the dugout and the next batter run up to the plate after a strikeout. Also when the player gets three outs they have to watch the players run into the dugout. This makes the game take on a rather slow pace. The batting and feilding are fun as a pitcher can select from 8 pitches to throw at 3 different speeds. A batter can hit the ball where they want using the east to use controls. It is a fun game overall because a player can have a homerun derby with almost any player from any team and even have a season and an All-Star Game. I would suggest that only a serious baseball fan purchase this game.

Sammy Sosa may hit no better than someone like Otis Nixon, you see what I mean? Overall, this game is so and so.

4.0 out of 5 stars An old-school ball game, April 13, 2001

All-Star Baseball 2000 for GBC reminds me of the old-school baseball games from the days of the NES, but it is generally good. Two annoying things with this game: the uniformity of the players' look and the sluggishness of the defensive plays. However, the graphs are good and the possibility of plays is interesting.

A good level of entertainment for road trips!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, May 3, 2003

This game is a pretty good baseball game, but it should have more features. Some of these features are trades, average and stat calculation, better graphics, etc. If you just like a simple baseball game, then this game is for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Triple Play, August 18, 2000
By
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

This game is fantastic, even for a Brit like me who has to suffer through lack of Basbeall in his own country.

This game is smooth and quick (unlike Triple Play 2001), the grahics are great, the game is easy to pick up as the controls are easily explained and it is addictive.

But there's even more...Home Run Derby(TM)! The Home Run Derby in this game is a lot better to the smaller, inferior version on Triple Play 2001.

You can even play a Season in All-Star Baseball 2000!

In fact, the only advantage Triple Play 2001 has over this game is that you can select the no. of innings in an exhibiton game, but then again, there is a way to shorten a game in All-Star Baseball...You turn the Gameboy off!

Please buy this game!

This game is great for people who do not know much about baseball. This game gives me trouble sometimes to throw the ball and it is really hard to get a hit or even harder to hit a home-run. i would not say this is the best baseball game out there.
