Sarah Brightman once again saves a horrible compilation!, November 27, 2004

Once again, the mere presence of Sarah Brightman prevents this cd from being completely annoying to bearable. Her live rendition of "O Holy Night" is stunning, and a real treat to her operatic fans. The rest of the songs are, unfortunately quite horrible. Not only can none of the other singers sing live, the sound is terible. Even on the Brightman track, there is a slight echo-sound present throughout, that gets very annoying. So, I gave this three stars because of the Brightman track. And also for whatever label it was that released this cd. Sarah Brightman Christmas recordings (other than the "Gala In Vienna" cd/dvd) are rare and treasured. This is a very inexpensive cd and any Sarah Brightman fan will be rewarded to purchase it, as well as the accompanying dvd, which is very bad, save for the two Brightman performances ("O Holy Night" and "Nella Fantasia".
