Please be aware that the quality of this sheet is unacceptable. I bought two sheets - loved the pattern and matched my room perfectly. Both sheets completely tore in multiple places as I put them on the mattress to see how I liked it. Never washed it, just seeing how it looked in the room and they tore. Our mattress is not anything unusual and we were not tugging at it. Just basic use.

Buyer beware - as the pattern is very cute for a sports themed room, the quality is definitely not worth it.

I love the pattern on this sheet, and it matches my son's room perfectly. However, the quality is awful! It ripped all around the sheet right after being washed for the 1st time. All we were doing is putting it on a standard crib mattress, but it still shredded. I would NOT recommend purchasing this item. Too bad, because I do love the looks of it.

I washed the crib sheet and then put it on my standard size crib mattress. It does fit, but it rips in order to do so. I doubt it will last very long. What a shame too because it is so cute. I might try and return it to Babies R Us.

My son's room is a sports theme and I thought this sheet would fit right in. What I didn't know is it would rip as soon as I tried putting in on a standard size crip matress. Its too small and the quality is not the best. I now use it at his daycare for his portacrib.

We purchased this set because we wanted to get the matching sheets (thought they were adorable). However, when we went to put them on over the matress pad, the sheet tore on the end. The sheet is made too small (or tight fitting) to use with the mattress pad. We tried to get it on our mattress without the padding, but it barely fit. The rest of this set is great, but the sheets are poorly made.

I bought the set and purchased an extra fitted sheet in December '04. I haven't had any problems with it. I have a thick, Sealy mattress from Babies-r-US, put a waterproof matress pad on it, put one of the fitted sheets on, put ANOTHER waterproof matress pad on, and put the last fitted sheet on top of that. It was a little difficult getting the last sheet on, but there weren't any rips or tears. I've used it this way for 3 months now and haven't had any problems with durability.

I did, however, wash the sheets and mattress pads in COLD water and dried them on LOW before putting them on. I can't say how they would hold up on higher settings.

April must have just been a bad time to buy this sheet because I just bought it a week ago and have had no problems. I washed and dried it and then put it on the mattress over a mattress pad and it fit just fine. I didn't have a struggle to put it on and it didn't rip. It is a cute design and I love it.

We purchased the complete bedding set and were very disappointed when the sheet did not fit the mattress. We tried so hard to get it to fit that we ended up ripping the fitted sheet. The quality is poor. At first, we thought the mattress we purchased wasn't a standard size, but it is. If you have a thin mattress, I can see it fitting with no problem. The mattress we purchased is thick and fits snug into the crib. We bought other standard sized fitted sheets and they fit with no problem.

Although the sheet is really cute and completes the All-Stars ensemble, the quality is definitely lacking so I have to give it only 2 stars. The sheet is too tight for our standard crib mattress (especially with a mattress pad in place). The sheet ripped at 4-5 different places along the elastic band. As one reviewer wrote, perhaps hang drying is the solution (and should be done before the very FIRST use). The manufacturer was to skimpy with fabric allowances...very disappointing. Oh well, I hand stitched the rips and still use it just so the crib looks good :-)

I don't know what the others are talking about. I just bought this and had no problems whats so ever! I love the whole design of it and the whole crib bedding. I have had nothing bad to say about this at all. Maybe the others need to wash this on a gentle cycle.
