I love the looks, durability and ease of assembly of this mobile, and my one month old just loves watching and listening to it while it's moving and playing music. However, I've actually timed the length of how long the mobile turns and plays music, and it's no longer than three minutes. It plays barely long enough for me to walk out of the nursery to the kitchen and get a drink before I have to go back in and wind it up again. I'm very dissapointed in this product as I purchased it hoping it would be a source of stimulation for my child and it has basically turned out to be a sorce of exercise for me having to run back and forth winding it up again.

It took me twice the time to remove all the twist-ties and other packaging from the carton than it did to assemble the whole mobile. I love the bright colors, music is cute and loud but it doesn't quite grab the attention of my 3-month old for very long. I really only got this to go with the All-star theme nursery but I could have done without it.

The reason I purchased this mobile was so I could have the complete All Stars set, and when I bought it I was under the impression that it was put together all ready. So you can imagine my surprise when I found out that it came in tiny cheap plastic pieces that first had to be pried off of the piece of cardboard it came on!!! It took me about an hour to assemble the thing and my fingers are still hurting from trying to put it together!!! And when I finally finished, I brought it to my baby's room--all proud of myself I must say, because I finally succeeded in putting it together--only to find out that the stupid thing didn't even fit on the back of the crib where it belongs!! And of course it doesn't adjust to fit every crib because it's cheap plastic!!! So now I'm debating if I'm going to return it, or just keep it on the front of the crib where it doesn't really belong just because I worked so hard putting the thing together!!! Save yourself the headache and don't buy this!!! Buy something else in the All Star collection--everything else was great!!!

I purchased this mobile to match my grandson's decor. After using it 10 times it no longer turns or plays music. It's a shame that you are charged 39.99 for a piece of junk.

I'm not sure why this is getting such bad reviews - other than the price - this item has worked great for us! I received this as a gift at my baby shower and immediately put it together - which really wasn't difficult at all. Attaching it to the crib took some thinking as our top rail is thicker than standard cribs, but we figured it out and it went on and off in a snap (or actually a twist). I've used it since my son was newborn up until he was 7 months and started pulling on it - in that time period, it's never quit working on me. The music plays a little fast to soothe a baby to sleep which is why I gave this 4 stars (as well as the price), but my son loved to watch it and we actually heard his first laugh while he was watching this in his crib. Now that my son is a year old, i've "recyled" the parts and have the sports balls haning on his wall to match the other sports decor.

My son loves this mobile - however - i am about to return my second one - the first time the string used to attach the soccer ball was defective and now on the second one the wind up for the music just decided to break (after about one month). and what's the point with no music? I won't exchange for another - I think I will choose something else this time.

This moblie is so cute, although priced a little high for only playing a few minutes which the biggest fault. My husband and I are in the process of trying to find somethng to just get it to spin minus the music, since our son loves to watch just watch it spin. As for attaching to the crib, we too found it hard until we figured it out then hit ourselves. All you have to do is place the mobile on the inside of the crib between the slats where you want it, then tighten from the outside. We have an odd shaped crib and it fits, although it did dent the wood a bit, but so what...it's furniture that will get much more wear than a little dent!

This moblie is great! It matches my son's room perfectly and he loves to listen to the music. I catch him staring at the balls, too.

I bought this to match my son's bedroom decor and we have had no problems! He loves watching the balls as the mobile turns. We have had to pack up and move, so I took the music part off and he listens to it in his pack and play.

i LOVED THIS MOBILE AND IT MATCHED THE BEDDING AND ROOM PERFECTLY, BUT WHEN I WENT TO PUT IT ON MY SONS CRIB IT DIDN'T FIT.
