When we discovered that we were having a boy, we quickly agreed on a sports theme. This was one of the cutest sports theme patterns I'd seen. The first thing I did, after setting up the crib and buying this beding set, was wash all of these products. (I didn't want my new baby boy to rub his tender skin up against the harsh fabric of new bedding.) I was very sad when I took the comforter out of the dryer and discovered that one of the stars on the quilt pattern had frayed. I haven't even brought my son home from the hospital and it is already falling apart. I guess my best advice is if you love the pattern as much as we did, buy it anyway. Just be aware that you should line-dry the quilt even though the tag says to "tumble dry low."

When we found out that we were expecting a boy, my husband wanted sports really bad. All the ones I kept finding were with Snoppy or a Teddy Bear which you can't grow with. This design you can grow with into toddler years and beyond. My husand loved it that every sport he is into is on the quilt and not just one particular one. The colors are really nice too and looks great in the room. I would recommend this one to anyone - especially since you get six pieces instead of four compared to the others.

We looked for a sports themed bedding set when we found out we were having a boy. This set is great because it doesn't have parts of the design hanging off of it like the others and incorporates all sports. And we plan on using the theme for longer than the time he is in the crib because is not really juvenile like some of the others. We had originally bought another set but returned it and got this one because we fell in love with it!!!!

My husband and I fell in love with this crib set when we were registering for our new baby boy. The quilt, even though it won't be used in the crib right away, is very thick and soft. The appliques on the bumper and quilt have different textures and are soft for the baby to touch. The design is adorable and gets most of the basic sports in there. The colors are versatile enough to find plenty of accent colors for sheets, curtains, and diaper changing pad covers. We think the nursery looks adorable and we can't wait to add our son to the decor!

I have twin sons and right away I knew that my boys would have sports themes. We picked this one out because of the colors, the "maturity" and the fact that it came with many accesories. The first time I washed the bedding sets there was no fading or anything wrong, and there never has been. The only problem was that the cute sheet didnt fit on right! I actually just put it on their changing pad as another reviewer recomended, and I just bought new sports ones. The set is very comfortable and very easy to wash, my sons have VERY sensitive skin and this set has never caused them irritation. It is also very easy to buy sports things from different sets, I bought a little table and chairs set, a few easy-peel stickers that dont ruin your walls, a coat hanger, and a hamper. I too recieved all the pieces in this set for my shower, and the only dissapointments were the sheets and the mobiles. The mobiles didnt work properly and I really hated them, especially for 40 bucks! The set is really a nice color blue, but it really isnt adorable until you see it in person (BRU) and it just looks so geourgeous with our oak colored wooden furniture. We have our walls painted the same navy bluish color that this bedding has on the bottom below the boarder and red above it. I also know that our sons will be able to keep the sports theme in their room for quite some time! There are just so many things that you can add to this set to make it your own (we are going to buy a soccer and basket ball bean bag chairs for example). The set always looks new when it comes out of the drier and I really would recomend this set for anyone whos having a little boy. Our sons just turned 9 months old and they just love their bumpers and I really cant believe how well this set has held up. I couldnt ask for anything more, and finally a set without little teddy bears!

As soon as we found out we were having a boy there was no doubt to my husband that the nursey had to be decorated in sports. We looked at many patterns and styles of sports bedding sets and this one was the prettiest to me. We purchased this in the store before reading any of the reviews. I didnt get to put it on our crib because we had yet to buy that yet and as I was reading the reviews about the crib sheet not fitting I panicked. Mainly because we bought 2 extras aside from the one that comes with the set so that we would have extras. We finally bought our crib over the weekend and washed everything dried everything and it fits wonderful in fact there is room for the sheet to draw up if it does after multiple washes (that is also with a fitted mattress pad under it). Mattresses do come in different thickness 4 in and 6 in ours is standard sealy supreme posturepedic that is 4 in thick and again there is extra room left with the sheet--a perfect fit. I am just glad that i didnt read the reviews prior to buying because i probably wouldnt have bought the extra sheets--gladthat i did.

also with the mobile, not sure why others had a problem, i thought it was rather easy to put together and it fit perfect with out sleigh style crib.

I was hesitant about purchasing this bedding set because of the previous reviews that I have read. I washed this set, even the bumper, on cold and dried it on low heat. I had no problems with it what so ever. The crib sheet was snug to get on but I was glad that it was. Really a great set.

I have a 2 yr old and we got this set since we are having another boy. I purchased this set because I thought it was great for 2 boys sharing a room. This set has a great look, and really can grow with the little guys.
My only problem was I washed the comforter, and I followed the directions to the letter, and it frayed at the seams. I did not dry it in the dryer, I hung it in my laundry room. I did contact L&I and they were very helpful.

This is a great set, with lots of great pieces, and it will grow with your child, just be careful when you wash it.

We used to have the John Lennon Nursery when our son Cam was born, but we decided to change it to something more sports-related. Out of all the sets we looked at, this was by far the best! The matching sheet is so cute, and the quilt is really thick and makes a great wallhanging. The ONE thing I would change would be the diaper stacker - it could be a little bigger!

My 4 month old son has such a cute ALL STAR room. WE have all the bedding, the lamp, wall boarder, and diaperstaker. His walls are navy blue and the wall boarder is on the top and bottom of the walls. The bedding looks so precious on his natural wood crib. The only piece of the whole set that dissapointed me was the crib sheet, it didnt fit too well so I just use it over his changing pad and use a different sports sheet instead. My son LOVES staring at his bumper and he will just look at it for HOURS sometimes, seriously! Well we also have the aquarium bed attatchment which works well. I couldnt pick a better set for him and I like thats its not cars like his 20 month old twin brothers were. I love this set and it washes VERY well, doesnt rip or fade. A perfect set and just absoulutly adorable!
