With this album i am sorry to say that Robert Fleischman is no longer on vocals.I think he is one of the best vocalists ever.He can hit high notes that only you can dream about.With that said You must buy Vinnie's First album as well.It's a pure masterpiece.Not only is his first album the best of 1986,but it's the best album of all time I think.People always say he was an egomaniac/as*hole,but the man has talent.So to all you out there who bash Vinnie I say this Fu*k You!I now talent and good music when I hear it and Vinnie is a genius at what he does.
1.Ashes to Ashes(10/10)Vinnie's guitar work sounds great.Slaughter sounds good on this one!
2.Dirty Rhythm(10/10)Another catchy party fun song.This is a great 80's metal song.
3.Love Kills(10/10)One of the best ballads that you'll ever hear,but this song is sometimes cut on certain cd releases.If you come across the Nightmare on Elm Street 4 soundtrack,you'll find the uncut version of Love Kills on there!
4.Naughty Naughty(9/10)More party harty fun with this one.You gotta love the 80's!
5.Burn(10/10)Great song.Vinnie shreds it up on this one.His guitar riffs and hooks are so well placed and executed!
6.Let Freedom Rock(8/10)Good song.This one's an anthem rocker!
7.That Time of Year(10/10)WOW!Excellent song,one of the best around!
8.Heavy Pettin(8/10)Another solid song,not the best,but has great guitar work.
9.Ectasy(7/10)Not too good,but I'm a big Vinnie fan so I can take this one.You might not be able to though unless your a fan!
10.Deeper and Deeper(8/10)More great guitar work.marks' vocals are decent.I still prefer Fleischman though!
11.Breakout(7/10)This one is not the best,but Not bad though!
12.The meltdown(5/10)Bobby Rock's Drum Solo!2 minutes long.
13.Ya Know I'm Pretty Shot(5/10)Acoustic guitar track with no vocals.Vinnie can play,but I don't care for this track too much!
Overall I say this album is well worth owning.This album is a good time of fun and excitment.This is real music!Also try to find Vinnie Vincent's 1996 EP titled Euphoria.He has Fleischman on vocals again,but it's only 4 tracks long!Well worth the money though if you can find it!
Live on forever Vinnie Vincent Invasion!

Vinnie Vincent was a rare gem within the 80's rock genre. His songwriting ablility and razor-edge guitar work ran circles around KISS, who'd made a big mistake in not making him a full-time member (considering how much he contributed to the band during his tenure there).
I'm a huge KISS fan, and would never take anything from any of the members that have existed throughout the band's career. However, the way Vincent was treated while a member represented the chink in the armor of the legendary band.
All Systems Go is not much different from the previous album. Well-written rock lyrics, Blazing fuitar work, and a catchy rythm are all present. It was a winning formula, and it's sad that he did't get the acolades he deserved in his solo career.

First off, I am a huge KISS and Vinnie Vincent fan. His work with KISS was outstanding and the first Invasion release, while WAY over the top with glam metal cheese, was amazing. With "All Systems Go" though, he seemed to jump on the late 80's extremely polished hair metal train and came up with a CD that lacks any punch. It fits in perfectly with the likes of Winger and Warrant. It's not bad, just nothing special. Still has great nostalgia value for me.

One question though. WHY did they edit "Love Kills"? The part at the end of the guitar solo where Mark Slaughter sings " Love's Dying ...etc." is cut out completely and the part toward the beginnig of the song where he sings "You're a lifetime ago and...etc." is also cut out. WTF?

Vinnie Vincent Invasion debut, and All Systems Go are excellent albums. Everytime I play them, I tend to crank up the volume a bit. I remember back in 1986 that I watched MTV when it was still good, there was a cool video "Boyz are gonna rock" towards the end of the video that they thrashed their instruments, that was totally awesome. I like both Robert and Mark as lead singers. The other songs are great to. I would recommend the cd.

I love this album, despite its utterly cheesy lyrics and hair-metal silliness. It was a favorite album of mine in school and remains quite enjoyable, mostly because it introduced me to Mark Slaughter's amazing voice. Vinnie Vincent's a very good guitarist, but Mark's the reason I still love this album (and the backing vocals on Ecstasy, by Stryper if I recall correctly, don't hurt).

My one complaint, and it's why I give this a four instead of a five: they edited "Love Kills." The best known song on the album, the one that everyone's going to know who listened to hair metal at the time, and they edit it. Twice. Very noticeably, and not too well, and with no logic whatsoever. What's that about? I'm disappointed that I didn't get the song I remember. It's still good, just... incomplete.

I bought the cassette of the album back in the late 80's and really liked it. When I saw the re-issue CD was out I sold my cassette and bought the CD. BIG MISTAKE!!! I have 3 problems with this re-issue: 1) a whole verse (about a minute of the song)is taken out of "Love Kills", 2)the ending of "Breakout" is gone, and 3) the bonus tracks are just very boring demos (one is a drum solo? and the other is Vinnie puttering around on an acoustic guitar). I would much rather have the ORIGINAL version of this album on cassette with all the original tracks intact than this butchered remastered CD!

This is a great album, one I picked up years ago when I first discovered Slaughter. The guitar work by Vinnie is amazing, though much more prominent on the first album. I wasn't a big fan of original singer Fleishman (funny one reviewer here says he can't take Slaughter singing, but I was the other way around). This album was just a little too slick. If only they could have put out a 3rd album with the best of worlds from the first two. "Love Kills" is the big hit, but my fav is "That Time of Year". Oh yeah, and I don't care if this is from the "hair band era" or not, good music is good music (just don't watch the videos!).

Vinnie Vincent's self-titled debut album of the Vinnie Vincent Invasion was a moderate success with excellent and memorable tunes which proved to Heavy Metal fans that Vinnie Vincent led the way with his unbelievable techinical guitar playing and outstanding song writting skills. His debut ablum geared by the powerful vocals by Robert Fleishman helped the Vinnie Vincent Invasion make a name for itself. The second album from this phenomenal band drives the Invasion even farther with Mark Slaughter taking over the role of vocal duties. The album is raw, gritty, pure-edged heavy metal. This album is right up to par with the debut album.

The album opener, "Ashes To Ashes" is an extremely strong tune. The lyrics are great, Slaughter's vocals are right on and Vinnie's guitar playing couldn't be better. This is a semi-anthem and is probably one of Vinnie's best songs he's ever written. This song is also definitely one of the best songs on the album. A couple tracks later is "Love Kills." This is very unified ballad with very passionate lyrics and powerful instrumental works. This song earns a spot next to "Ashes to Ashes" as it earns Number 2 best song on the album.

The anthem part of this album is provided by the all-mighty poweful "Let Freedom Rock." This title speaks for itself. It's definitely an anthem that represents the pride of the United States. The next ballad on this album is "That Time Of Year." This is slightly better than "Love Kills." The lyrics Vinnie wrote in this tune are outstanding as it is about a man leaving his woman. Very touching and passionate tune right here. There is a third ballad on this album called "Ecstasy." This is definitely in the top 5 for the song's best. Out of the three, this is probably the best of the ballads on this album. Even thought the title is a little deceiving, it's a very powerful song.

The two closing songs on this album, "Meltdown" and "Ya Know - I'm Pretty Shot" are both excellent instrumentals. The better of the two is "Ya Know." This acoustic instrumental piece contains some of Vinnie's best guitar work to date and shows off every bit of talent Vinnie has on the guitar. If some people don't believe Vinnie is a great guitar player, this tune proves them wrong.

This album is pure raw-edged Heavy Metal all the way. It doesn't get any better than this. Vinnie's guitar playing is phenomenal, his song-writting has improved, and Slaughter's vocals are fantastic. The band put a lot of hard work into this album and the results show it. Buy this album, "All Systems Go" and let Vinnie take you for the ride of your life.

VVI's 2nd album is definitely the pinnacle of the ex-Kiss er's career... Why? Because he had the pleasure of working with 2 of the greatest rock and roll musicians of the 90's - Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum. Mark Slaughter's helium high vocals bring to life the rock standard `I love females' lyrics written by Vincent himself, whilst Dana's Bass lines give the songs unique rhythmic character making them a lot more definitive - opposed to the `Bass line that plays the guitar bit' which according to interviews of the day Vinnie wanted. It's no wonder that Mark and Dana bailed Vincent to work on their own band `Slaughter' and their 1st album went on to platinum sales with hit after hit. Even to this day Slaughter is an active band, still gigging and recording. Funny how after VVI Vincent disappeared... you do the math.

just a lot of solid 80`s songs ,from ashes to ashes and love kills (from the nightmare on elm st 4 soundtrack) so many good songs on this album and mark slaughter on vocals ,just buy it ,you won`t be disappointed . killer guitar work from Vinnie Vincent who has so much talent .I hope he releases some archived stuff soon and continues work with the guitar, too much talent to be hidden...
