Really works to keep mosquitos and gnats away.
Daria
Heads up if you choose to use, you have to rub on the repellent with your hands after you spray it (it's not an aerosol spray).
Miguel Padilla
It is gentle on kids with sensitive skin, the smell is not too strong and actually pleasant, and best of all it really works!

I have used this product everywhere from the Cascade mountains of Washington (while working as a Wilderness Ranger for the Forest Service) to the Everglades (as a Wilderness Instructor for Outward Bound). It has never let me down. Dressing for the bugs is always your best bet, but a little spritz of this around the neck and ankles can sure make an evening more enjoyable. Seems to be a good company too, with some of their procedes going to help environmental causes.

I bought this product after reading about it in the New York Times. Our yard is infested with Asian Tiger mosquitoes and this really keeps them at bay. Herbal Armor works as well as any DEET product we've used. Excellent product.

Took it camping. Bugs love me, so I usually am doused in some chemical based bug spray. I was skeptical, but decided to try this anyway. It worked. I didn't get one bite. Amazing! I'll be using this from now on.

I walked up to a lake and instantly i was swarmed by mosquitos. I quickly sprayed on the Herbal Armor and no more mosquitos for about 3-4 hours. Very effective. Make sure you have it on all your exposed skin and areas around the openings of your clothes such as sleeves. For extra protection, put some under your clothes too. mosquitos can bite you through your clothes depending on the thickness of material. You need to reapply 3-4 hours or the mosquitos will be on you again. It doesnt work with all bugs, but works well agasint mosquitos. The spray nozzle is kinda messy, leaves residue all over the nozzle and pump.

This was by far one of the first insect repellents I've used that works. Areas where I sprayed the repellent went untouched or bitten by insects. Areas that I happen to miss were bitten by insects. Be careful to spray and spread out manually by hand to avoid missing any spots on your skin. One thing I didn't like about this product was the smell, it was very strong and after a while nauseating.

I bought this product in 2000 in response the the West Nile virus scare and after getting so bitten by something at Burney Falls that it took more than a year for the welts to go away. Instead of use it, until last year I stayed indoors, stopped camping, and avoided all situations that might involve mosquitoes. Last year I took up hiking.

I have been on some of the most mosquito infested trails in the Sierras (Lola Montez Lakes, Mosquito Pass on the way to Lake Aloha, Carson Pass/Winnemucca Lake, etc.). Each of these trails contain well known/well documented spots where there are swarms of mosquitoes so thick it is almost impossible to breath without them going up your nose or down your throat. I spray my skin, my clothes and my hair. I have someone spray the back of me. Last year I hiked more than 700 miles in the Sierras.

I HAVE NOT HAD ONE BUG BITE OF ANY KIND!

Other hikers in my groups initially refused to try this product. Even while being bitten alive. Saying they could not stand the smell of it. (An added benefit is it keeps other hikers at bay as well as the mosquitoes-- causing the mosquitoes to go after the unprotected hikers in my group who refuse to be near me.) Later, those same people were begging to "borrow" it and demanding to know where it was that I got it.

The formula today varies slightly from the product I first purchased in 2000 and have been using the past year.

Oil of soybean has doubled in concentration. I don't view that as a negative since in order to increase oil of soybean the inert ingredients were reduced. (Which are water and other thinners to make to contents spray able.)

Thank you All Terrain for a terrific product!

I work outside for a living every day. I am a mosquito attractant. For some reason ( I read it's carbon dioxide emissions from your skin) the little buggers love me. I can be sitting in a group of people and be the only one the little devils decide to feed on.

After years of suffering with the bites, out of desperation, I tried conventional Deet products (Skin so soft did nothing for me) The Deet products very work well, but the worry about putting an insecticide on my skin and the headaches I also was getting drove me to herbal products. Some such as Lemon eucalyptus based products (Repel make a good long lasting one) work terrific. Well terrific that is if you do not mind smelling like dirty laundry all day.

The Herbal Armor product works incredibly well for about 2-3 hours before it has to be reapplied. The creamy combination of herbal oils keep the insects (especially the little devil mosquitoes) away 99.9 percent of the time. It also nice fragrant smell and it actually feels soothing on the skin. So having to reapply a number of times on a hot day is kind of soothing.

I use the deet products on the outside of my clothing (the creepy thing bite right through) and the Herbal Armor on any exposed skin. I am rarely every a meal for a mosquito anymore.

And I never get odd looks at the deli any more for smelling like dirty laundry from the Lemon eucalyptus products.

I used this product on my last trip to Tanzania after previously using Jungle Juice I purchased at REI (98% DEET). It has lemongrass and peppermint scent which I found pleasant and wears off after initial application. The spray is a little messy so I end up spraying the liquid onto my hands and rubbing it in. I highly recommend this product.
