An excellent documentary of the works of Bach performed by such contemporaries as Keith Jarrett, Christopher Hogwood, Moe Koffman, etc. Bach's music takes on many forms: Jarrett's masterful, fluidic solo playing, Moe Koffman's jazz quintet, music for tap and ballet dancing, the Canadian brass ensemble, and other classical settings. I didn't give it five stars because it can be a little slow (boring) at some points. Still highly recommended.

what a treasure. excellent selections that demonstrate not only the genius of bach, but how his music can be transcribed so beautifully. thrilled to find this video tape after a long, long search.
