Book Description

June 5, 2012 A Novel of the Etherlin (Book 2)
The Etherlin muses have long served as the source of divine inspiration. Now their world stands between the forces of Heaven and Hell…

As his muse, Cerise propelled her musician boyfriend to the heights of fame, but when he dies under mysterious circumstances, her powers vanish. Now Cerise is plagued by disturbing half-formed memories of his final night…until she meets Lysander, who seems to hold the key to restoring her memories and abilities.
Fallen archangel Lysander is consumed by his quest for redemption until it leads him to the captivating Cerise. Now his thirst for revenge is rivaled only by his passion for the woman he can’t forget and won’t resist.

Bound by blood and stalked by a deadly enemy, will they pay the ultimate price for succumbing to their passion?

5.0 out of 5 stars Different P.O.V. and Fuller Story June 18, 2012
Format:Mass Market Paperback
"All That Falls" continues the Etherlin series by following a different main character - the muse Cerise. It's an easy and natural transition as Alissa and Merrick still figure heavily in the storyline. What I do appreciate about this series is that the main male and female characters are given equal time, so readers can see both where they came from, and how they change and grow. At first, I wasn't as enamored of Cerise as I had been of Alissa in "All That Bleeds." It felt like Lysander's attraction to her was a bit unearned, especially considering that Alissa's relationship with Merrick took 5 years of letter writing to develop. Also, Alissa followed a higher calling and exhibited a wider morality than Cerise. While Alissa spurned convention to follow that calling, it seemed that Cerise was merely rebelling (if you say "up" I say "down" - you say "stop" I say "go"). It seemed a shallow attraction. However, Cerise won me over by mid-book when she traded attitude for action. "All That Falls" goes deeper into past relationships, revealing the desire and ego that leads to betrayal. There are also uncommon heroes in Richard and Jersey, one of whom serves up a nice dish of comeuppance. With lots of action and characters that are easy to care about, "All That Falls" is a superb second book in the Novels of the Etherlin.

5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend this series June 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I love this series of which this is the second book. Darker than the Southern Witch series, but exciting with some humor and great characters. I recommend reading first book "All That Bleeds" first to get background. Both books have hot leading men and strong female leads.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first one... June 9, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
and I loved the first book! I did not particularly care for Cerise in the first book and I started this one feeling I wouldn't like the heroine but right from the beginning she surprised me. A strong woman who is obviously a match made in heaven for a redemption seeking fallen archangel. The characters from the first book seamlessly carry over to this one and, not surprisingly, Merrick remains his exceptional self. Many times, Cerise thinks how "cool" Merrick is and he certainly is. Regardless, he does not overshadow Lysander who is an amazing character himself. I loved everything about this book. I couldn't put it down, it was riveting.
