Joe has a very impressive list of written and producing for acts like Allure, Xscape, Chico Debarge.. Soundtracks; Booty Call, Dont Be a Menace, Romeo Must Die, Havin Plenty.., The Wood. A very highly entertaining but very underrated debut album Everything.. Joe hits us with All I Am to add to his growing impressive list of accomplishments and soon to be release My Name is Joe.. All I Am is one of the most throughly consisted albums in a long time every track on here is simply great from the opening track All The Things (Your Man Wont Do) to the closing track.. No One Comes Close.. My personal Favorite Good Girls.. I brought this when it first was release still gets heavy play in my cd player.. So if you havent already add this to your collection what you waiting for ? If you love smooth romantic R n B this is it.. Joe is one of the brighetest talented Performer, Songwriter , Producer today.. Keep doing what you doing brother

JOE is known to most r&b fans as the soundtrack man. "All The Things", "Don't Wanna Be A Player", "Faded Pictures w/Case", and the current smash hit "I Wanna Know" are all on different movie soundtracks. He also has a song on the upcoming "Romeo Must Die" soundtrack. On "All That I Am" JOE proves that he can hang on the soundtracks as well as on his own album. Most of today's r&b artists sound the same. JOE sings about some of the same topics but he has his own way of doing it and that separates him from most of the r&b artists today. "All The Things" and "Don't Wanna Be A Player" are featured on this CD, but there are also other classic songs. "Good Girls", "Love Don't Make No Sense", "How Soon", and "The Love Scene". There isn't one bad song on the album. Any song JOE is featured on is tight. If you don't believe me, I'll give you a short list: "No Guarantee and "Listen To Your Man" w/ Chico DeBarge, "Thank God I Found You" (Remix) w/ Mariah Carey, and "Faded Pictures" w/Case. All those songs and the songs that JOE has on his album will satisfy anyone's r&b taste. His new CD "My Name Is JOE" is scheduled to be released on April 18, 2000.

Joe has a beautiful voice and it's sexy and mellow and silky. The music is equally sexy and it's a great chill out cd. His songs are gorgeous and my all time favourite Joe song out of this cd and all of his others is The Things Your Man Won't Do. Oh Lordy. It's devine and you could almost literally melt just listening to that. He's so talented and easy on the eyes. He has/is the whole package.

I first heard of joe through my cousin. he had the cd; i listened to it, and I fell I love with it from track one.

all the songs are easy on the ears, easy on the soul. if you are single, it makes you wish you weren't; if you are in a relationship, it makes you realize how lucky and blessed you are to be able to share your life with someone else.

joe shows that he knows how a woman should be treated with tracks such as "All The Things (Your Man Won't Do)", "The Love Scene", and the title track, "All That I Am".

My favorite song is "No One Else Comes Close". It gets to me everytime, makes me realize that in life, all we really want is to be loved endlessly by another soul. Buying and listening to this cd is to know that feeling... that being loved and cherished is not so bad. It's one of the best feelings one will ever experience in life.

I saw Joe in concert before he 'hit it big' and he put on a fantastic performance...what sets Joe apart from other R&B artist is that he can handle an upbeat tempo as well as he can sing a ballad. Most R&B singers/groups are generally better at one than the other so only 1/2 the album is good (or everything just sounds the same!). This is why I rarely buy straight R&B, but Joe is true to form & his album lives up to the songs you hear played on the radio -- "Good Girls", "Don't Wanna Be a Playa", "No Guarantees" etc. If you like those, you will enjoy the CD. My only complaint is that the version with Big Pun wasn't included on the album.

This cd is one of my most precious and favorites of all that I own. Why do I say this? Well just listen to Joes album and you'll find out. This album is one of the best I have ever heard from an R&B artist. It goes from music to get freaky to, to music to just make your girl feel special. I'll go down the list and give you some insight on the album.

1.All the things (your man won't do)- great song i give it a 5 out 5.(i believe its the first single of the album.)

2.Love Scene- man a nice slow jam this is one also went single i give it a 4.75.

3.Don't won't to be a player-this song was also on the "Booty Call Soundtrack", great song i love it 4.75 out of 5.

4.Good girls- another single i think, nice slow guitar song with a nice tune to it. 4.5.

5.How soon-man this song should've been a single i love this song. My favorite of all the album. Talks about how he misses his girl and that he understands what shes gotta do. 5 out 5

6.Sanctified Girl(Can't fight this feeling)- tight song with a some hip hop flavor. 4.5 out 5.

7.All that i am- the title song a great song at that. 4.5 out of 5.

8.No one else comes close-guitars and all joe is the guitar man. great song love it totally. 5 out 5.

9.Come around-another hip hop flavored song like track 6 4 out 5.

10.U Shoulda Told Me (U Had a Man)- hip hop/rnb song. this one is probably the most hip hop of all the songs. Joe has a nice way of blending hip hop and rnb in his music. 4.5 out 5.

11.Love Don't Make No Sense-man this is another favorite of mine, love it to the core. 5 out of 5.

12.No One Else Comes Close [Unplugged Version]- this is of course the unplugged version, excellent song. 5 out of 5.

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed every song on an album/cd. This cd from Joe is correctly titled -- he give us all that he is and more. Although it has been out for awhile I'm still enjoying listening to this brother everyday.

Personally i didnt think this was a classic like many other people said, but it was good, i think that if joe had the money and technology that he has today to spend on sound quality he couldve made this better. and joe's topic range can at times not be the best. the best song without a doubt is no one else compares, this song blew me away, classic song no doubt, let anyone listen to this song that at least has a heart and they'll love this song, but the rest of the cd is good but not a classic, i think that if joe put the best songs from each of his albums on one album it would be the best r&b cd ever.

I believe this is probably one of the best, if not the best R&B album ever. His newer ones are not as great and he shouldn't have abandoned the formula for ALL THAT I AM. I first bought the cd because of the song LOVE SCENE, I've heard ALL THE THINGS before but didn't really appreciate it until i reall started to listen to it. This is one of the few CDs I can listen to without skipping a track. His voice plus good lyrics and music make this a must have for anyone who loves R&B, and music for that matter.

This is by far the best CD that Joe has done to date. I hope he makes more CD's on this level soon.
