4.0 out of 5 stars Real Review, October 12, 2004
This review is from: All That's Left (Audio CD)
The person who wrote the first review obviously has no idea what Thrice is. Punk-pop? Yeah-right. Thrice is one of the best emocore bands to date. It is a literal insult to call these musicians punk-pop.

All That's Left is an awesome single by an awesome band. The title track gets you banging your head to it's intense moods, and The acoustic version of Stare At The Sun is a melodic masterpiece. Motion Without Meaning is an excellent example of typical Thrice in an agressive, yet still beautifully melodic song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes, thank you!, October 22, 2005
This review is from: All That's Left (Audio CD)
I agree with the uh other dude who says the editorial is wrong. Obviously, the guy who wrote the editorial didnt even bother listening to Thrice or doesnt know his punk sub-genres. Thrice is a perfect mix between harcore and emo. In case YOU dont know, the tracks All That's Left and Stare at the Sun are emo. Motion Isn't Meaning is a good mix of metal and emo=emocore. You can access the lyrics to the songs at Thrice's fan site, if your ears arent used to hearing the complexities of Kensrue. But I like the idea of using an instrumental song, because Thrice has always been known for harcore punk, and not so much strings and non electric guitars. You should also check out the new album out called Vheissu, which is more "spacey" than their other works, but is still Thrice
