About the Author
Alan Jenkins is Executive Director and Brian Smedley is Research Director of The Opportunity Agenda. Jenkins lives in New York and Smedley lives in Silver Spring, Maryland. Founded in 2005, The Opportunity Agenda is a New York and Washington, D.C.-based communications, research, and advocacy organization dedicated to building the national will to expand opportunity in America.
