Don't waste your money on this product. Table is top heavy. Table and benches are unsteady and tip over easily. Not enough support on legs of table and benches.

i read the above reviews and telephoned all things cedar, to discuss the reviews. i liked the table shape so much, i really wanted to see if it were still so badly designed.

the man i spoke with said the benches had been redesigned, he knew that. he said the legs had been moved out further to the edges/sides so that if someone sat on one side, and there was no one on the other side of the bench (think seesaw) the bench would no longer flip down under the sitter, and the other side would no longer fly into the air. it would in fact, just remain a stable bench.

he did not know for sure that the table had been redesigned. but he guessed it had, as it would be awkward to have the table legs not match the bench legs. so i risked it and ordered it.

it has not arrived yet. but once it has, i will write another review to let you know.

the all things cedar fellow did say that the picture is old, and needs to be updated. so i said why not do that? and he said it is one of the many things the company has on its to do list.

I agree with the other reviewer--this table is really top heavy. Also, the design is poor (the picture is deceptive...the benches are not in fact as wide as the table, but a good foot shorter). My biggest complaint about the table is that the wood is SUPER light, which, in addition to the top heavy design, causes the table to tip over constantly. The benches, too, are poorly designed. I've had a few guests nearly flip over while sitting on them. Overall, this was a highly disappointing purchase for me. I highly discourage anyone from buying this table and bench set.
