damn sick-maybe a little over the top with all the spoken words mixed with brutal hardcore singing-but at least theyre not singing like ... all these bands seem to be doing now-adays..to get it str8 if you like sepultura, god forbid, santa sangre, hatebreed, until the end, youll dig this! a mix of old school heavy with new school hardcore.
plus a song that statrs out emo then gets hella heavy-its pretty sick too...youll like

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent hardcore album, November 3, 2005
This review is from: All Things Change (Audio CD)
There is only one thing about this CD that would be considered negative by the general Hardcore population... and that is that there is more lyrical talking than found in most hardcore bands. However, this band hit it right with this CD, and the talking sets the stage for quite a few asskickings... that is if you're in the pit at once of their shows. There is a very equal mixture of thrash metal rifts, old school AND new school hardcore breakdowns, and British Metal-style solos that complete the main guitar rifts. There is also a slight amount of classic rock influence, but it is integrated in a hardcore way. The drummer is perhaps one of the more impressive aspects of this album, as he keeps a constant flowing beat through all his songs, rips off great drum solos, is good with double bass, makes the cymbals part of the music instead of simply the que to "start the next part," and you can just FEEL his intensity. Overall, Scars of Tomorrow is very passionate band and they show it best on this album (although I am still waiting for my copy of "Horror of Realization," which is their new album." I will say, the first 2 songs aren't all that great but the rest of the CD is... hey that's better than just the first 2 songs being great. This is not one of those bands who relies on good production value to sound good... it is no Drowning Pool (possibly one of the most pathetic metal bands ever created). So for 7 or 8 bucks fellas, this one is 100% WORTHIT!
