This is a really nice collection of Jack Jones love songs, with Universal UK offering twice the music that their American MCA division issued to Americans with the Jack Jones Greatest Hits CD. If you don't already own, or care to own, the original vinyl editions of Bewitched, For the 'In' Crowd, Lady, or Our Song, then this 2-disc set will give you nearly all of the ballad singles from those LPs, which are not on the U.S. release. (For some reason, though, the gorgeous Just Yesterday always gets omitted from these collections - from both sides of the Atlantic - and I can't figure out why.) And, yes, that's a 70s/RCA era photo of Jones slapped on the cover of this collection, even though its music is from his 60s/Kapp years, so know what you're getting here.

This set looks to already be out of print, but it should still be relatively easy to obtain. Honestly, with MCA/Universal issuing and discontinuing so many Jack Jones compilation albums for over 40 years now, isn't it time to re-evaluate this huge catalog of music and return control of it to AMERICANS (you know, the primary audience who purchased and loved the original Kapp LPs)? Is it so unreasonable for us to ask for even a little input? I guarantee you - we'd find plenty of appropriate, dreamy photos of the very young, brown-haired Jack for the CD covers. :-)

I have found this to be a great album. This is Jack Jones, in his hey day.
These are some of his best singles, as well as tunes, from some of his best albums. I must say, I really enjoyed listening to all of these songs.
I have also purchased, quite a few MP3 download albums. It's wonderful to be able to play your music within a matter of minutes and the prices are exceptionally good.

Again, one of his great albums. Listening will appeal to all ages I'm sure.
