All-Time Favorite Science Fiction Stories

All stories are by different authors but all stories are narrated by the thoroughly-capable Rene O'bersionwa (sp?)-- the actor who portrayed 'Odo' in Star Trek: Deep Space 9. There are 5 volumes of this series, and this is the first one in CD format. My personal favorite is volume 4: "The Victim from Space" by Robert Scheckly (sp?) and "Honorable Enemies" by Poul Anderson. Both are part of their own series of stories written by those authors and hearing them both is a good opportunity to consider in reading the rest of their works.

I give it three stars as the rest of the volumes are somewhat boring due to their content-- but that's my opinion.

I would pay attention to the skill shown by the narrator; his well modulated voice with variable accents and different tones used to differentiate between different characters in each story makes him enjoyable and easy to hear. Should I find another Audiobook I wish to listen to, I would prefer to hear it from this narrator.

i enjoyed this compilation of many good sci-fi authors, i recommend it to anyone who likes sci-fi.
