Angel In My Heart: Slow...but still sweet. It reminds me of all the good times I had with my friend that died last year. :'(

All The Remixes are very good too! This is my favorite Jump5 CD! My saying to all these songs are that they are all fun to dance and sing to (except for the slow songs, but still fun to sing to)!!!!

This is a great cd if what you are looking for is infectious, high energy dance/pop, without lost-love/sexual themes performed by 5 talented teens. Jump5, a Christian group, presents positive themes and upbeat messages without sounding like they are proselytizing or being preachy. (I didn't know they were a religious group until is was told so!) Don't write them off just because they are labeled a "Christian" group.

Most of the cuts are up tempo dance tunes (All I Can Do, Throw Up Your Hands, Summer Song, Joyride, Forever In My Heart) with the remainder being a ballad (Angel In My Heart) and some techno R&B ( Put Me In The Picture, Diamond). The CD finishes off with what sound like jack-swing remixes of tracks 1,2, and 4.

The songs are written with very strong hooks (they'll stay in your head) and are singable. The production is slick and the sound is dynamic (perfect for the dance floor).
The performances are very good but the voices are sometimes overrun with phase shifts and other technical wizardry. The group really shines when they are allowed to just sing without the techno-twiddling. The three female leads are trained vocalists and, not surprisingly, their voices are clear and they harmonize nicely. Brittany, the youngest, has some wonderful "pipes" and uses them to great affect on "All I Can Do" and "Put Me In The Picture".

The members of Jump5 are also trained dancers and gymnists (hence the "Jump" of "Jump5"). This aspect of the group is best experienced live or on the two DVDs they have released. Recommended.

I was eagerly anticipating this cd. They definately didn't let me down!

Everything about this cd is great; it is one of the most fun I have heard in a long time. It kicks off to a great start with the incredibly infectious "All I Can Do," arguably the best song on the album. It keeps up momentum with "Throw Your Hands Up," another great song on the album. "Forever in My Heart" has a nice groove, and "Put Me in the Picture" is definately cute. There are slower songs, such as "Angel in My Heart," but most are relatively up-tempo.

While this is a Christian album, the lyrics weren't overly Christian. I found it a bit of a disappointment, but the overall positiveness of the lyrics make up for it. There is NOTHING negative on this album, which is great for younger audiences who don't need to be listening to so much negativity, anyway.

Unfortunately, as great as this cd is, it is not without drawbacks. First, there are only 11 songs on the whole album. By itself, that's almost not enough music. Second, of those 11 songs, three are re-mixes of songs on the cd. Had they been remixes of songs from their previous effort, that would have been great. But they weren't, they were remixes of songs from this cd. The remixes didn't even add anything to the songs. Personally, I actually enjoyed the original versions better. Those problems aside, though, this is still a wonderfully fun album. The eight songs they had were more than worth the price.

This great album can appeal to both Christian and secular audiences. That is very good, as it brings a positive message not found in much of contemporary secular music. The group also set themselves apart from other groups, having their own distinct sound and style. For any parent who wants to find a fun cd without worry of what the lyrics are about, this more than does the job.

Jump 5 has a good way of convincing people to buy their CD. It is really good. If you like all sorts of music this is the CD you've been waiting for. It's awesome how their voices mix right together. Jump up and buy it NOW!

"Start Jumpin'" is my favorite song.
But in Brazil hasn't their cds and I need to import.
Their songs are excellent.

I love this CD. While it may not be my favorite (Steven Curtis Chapman is the greatest), I love it.

Songs-
All I can do- 5/5 stars. This song has a great message, and the beat is good, not too fast or slow.
Throw your hands up- 5/5 stars. It's a great dance beat, though the lyrics are a little repetitive.
Summer Song- 4/5 Nice anthem style song, nice sound to it, little different than anything else, and good lyrics.
Joyride- 5/5 The song I originally heard. I like the beat and the music, and the lyrics are original.
Angel in My Heart- 5/5 the only really slow song on the CD, it's nice, though I like quicker songs more, this one was good too.
Put me in the Picture- 3/5 This was probably my least favorite, but it was still good. It just didn't have the same sound.
Forever in my Heart- 5/5 Great song, good lyrics, everything.
Diamond- 4/5 Good song, could have been better (lyrics were repetitive slightly)
remixes- These were almost better than the originals.

This CD needs to be LONGER! 40 minutes just didn't cut it!

I thought this cd was great! Jump5 has great talent and their good rolemodels for kids. I can't wait to get their new cd... You rule jump5!
