I am so ecstatic fate caused me to stumble upon this album in a record store a couple months ago. How it is that someone like me who is totally into this type of music hadn't heard of them prior is a mystery. And a huge shame. This is exactly the type of album that causes me to stop sometime during the second spin and shout, "Yes, YES - This is what I've been craving!"It's definitely a relative of early Portishead and Massive Attack, but it has a certain emotional, ethereal quality than is only rivaled by Halou. The production is amazing, and somehow it sounds very modern even though it features some old-school analog synths. Every track is unique, and all are wonderful. Having no fillers, the album flows as one trippy/beautiful work of art. Favorite tracks are "Start Again," "Wake Up," "So Long," "I See You," and the two absolute highlights: opener "All Under" and closer "Can't Save You." If you are a fan of trip-hop or mellower electropop - or if you are just a little nostalgic for the old Bristol sound - you must purchase this album. Also purchase Halou's "Wholeness & Separation." Don't let these masterpieces pass completely unnoticed.

This is a solid album. Don't be fooled by the reviewers that say this is a cheap ripoff of Bristol sound. It's quite unique in terms of production and voice quality, and is consistently solid without being overbearing. Amazon doesn't have previews of the tracks, so you're left to look them up on iTunes. It's a fantastic album.

It's not perfect, but it's a welcome return to an older era. Maybe I'm just nostalgic- on the other hand, I don't think I've ever heard electronica that swerves so close to acapella. If you miss Portishead('s earliest) or Denali, give it a listen.
