3.0 out of 5 stars Short & Fun August 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was a pretty good book. Both stories were short, sweet and to the point. I liked that there was some background and these actually had some flesh to the plot and not just some scenes thrown together. This would be good for a quick read for something fun, interesting or relaxing. You don't have figure anything out or automatically start cataloging things in your mind to remember again later in the book. Just to read for the sake of reading and 'getting away' for a while, and within one sitting. Fun to read. A good surprise for a freebie.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unnecessary crime stuff May 14, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Found the story funny and touching. Enjoyed having both H and h POVs.

Hated the crime angle. It was completely unnecesarry and awkwardly inserted into the story. There was no point to it at all! The story itself could stand alone with just character interaction. Don't know if it was the author's attempt to add intrigue or perhaps was forced by the publisher, but it did not work at all. To me, it add cringe-worthy fluff to the story.

Adored the hero, he's a catch, most probably since there was a lot of parallels that happened in real life with my own nerd hubby that are similar in the book. This book is a keeper and would have been 5+ stars had the crime crap been omitted.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet May 3, 2014

Format:Kindle Edition
Two short stories about men and women being friends and deciding to become more than friends. The first story dealt with the guy being afraid that having sex will ruin the friendship they established but the girl reassured him that it will make it better. The second story was a little more over the top because it was Valentines day and they decided to be each other's date for the day but it ends up becoming more. It's important to establish friendship before entering into a long term relationship. I liked both stories.
