ALL THE WAY by Kimberley White is an action-packed romance from beginning all the way to the suspenseful conclusion. Payton Vaughn, a manager of an upscale nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina, has her sight set on managing a new and equally impressive nightclub in Miami. However, one night she witnesses a murder inside the Charlotte club, contacts the police and is immediately placed into protective custody. While in hiding, hit men track her down but she manages to escape. While escaping, she carjacks an investigative reporter who happens to be investigating the same person Payton is hiding from.

Adriano works for the Chicago City Newspaper and has no choice but to assist Payton in her escape, but it is a two-prong deal for him, he'll help, but he wants an exclusive story. What begins as an adventure, quickly turns to romance with danger constantly lurking in the shadows.

ALL THE WAY is a fast-paced, never-ending saga, filled with endearing characters. The conclusion reveals the true murderers, the reason behind the gruesome crimes, the likes of the local police department in relationship to the FBI and the inner workings of investigative reporting. Truly entertaining!

Reporter Adriano Norwood was sitting in his news van minding his own business when in jumps Payton Vaughn demanding that he drive. Adriano is a gorgeous reporter playboy in Charlotte on assignment. Never in a million years did he think he would end up in the mist of mess involving the most notorious family in Charlotte. Payton was the only witness to her employer ordering a hit on someone. While in protective custody, she flees because her employer's people are coming for her. Payton and Adriano end up on an outrageous adventure. Somewhere between dodging bullets and high speed chases, they fell in love.

Kimberly White does a good job of mixing the romance and action adventure elements together. All the Way is packed with thrills and suspense, but White managed to keep the romance element believable. The characters in this story are great. You find yourself in the story with them trying to figure out what would happen next, and always routing for them to work it out in the love department.

The H/H did so many dumb things. I mean in one scene He tells her not to answer the door because they are out there and she looks at him like 'What?!' and answers the door. That is just one example of the stupid things that she did. I mean she was in protective custody because they wanted to keep her safe and what does she do? Sneak out because she misses her man. I mean really, she just saw him that morning. She was hiding from murderers. Very scary and violent murders (like there is another type) but she kept putting herself in situations that caused other to be hurt and even killed. Why did he fall in love with her. She was selfish. I threw this book across the room and yelled at it. Dumb woman!

I love Kimberly Whites style of writing. I am not normally a romance type reader but her style is slightly different and takes romance in another direction. The book kept my attention and wanting for more.
