As good as "My Religion"...,

What can I say, TNT have done it again! This CD is every bit as good at their previous release, "My Religion". As a matter of fact, I think it's a little more solid from start to finish. With "My Religion", I like the first half of the CD better than the 2nd half. With "All the Way to the Sun", I like it the same from start to finish. Also, the cover of "What A Wonderful World" is simply amazing. If you're a TNT fan, definitley pick this one up. I ordered it directly from the TNT website and they even included a very cool laminated backstage pass! Rock on!

Another excellent disc, but...,

TNT - is there really another band out there that, musically and vocally (especially vocally) continues to turn out great music, disc after disc? Admittedly, "Firefly" and "Transister" were kind of letdowns after the excellent "Realized Fantasies" (with the legendary track "Purple Mountains Majesty"), but then they come back with "My Religion" and now "All The Way To The Sun". While "All The Way To The Sun" is not quite on the same level as "My Religion" it is still an excellent record.Highlights include the title track, "Sometimes", "Too Late" (questionable lyrics), "Driving", "Ready To Fly" and oddly enough "What A Wonderful World". "Sometimes" is already an International classic. "Too Late" has a wierd lyric in it but is a good tune as is "Driving". "Ready To Fly" is a made-for sure fire radio hit. But, a pleasant surprise is "What A Wonderful World". Tony Harnell's voice makes this Louis Armstrong classic sound well... great. Heck, even your grandmother will like this version... If you liked "My Religion", which was one of the best, if not the best Pop/Rock/Metal discs of 2004, you will like this new offering. TNT's music grows on you... and grows... and grows...

Norwegian hard rockers TNT follow up their killer comeback album New Religion with another high quality collection of tunes built around the amazing vocals of Tony Harnell. All The Way To The Sun is filled with great performances especially from Ronni Le Tekro on guitars and Tony Harnell on vocals. The sound of the album is absolutely amazing due to the brilliant mixing and mastering from the legendary Tommy Hansen. Highlights include the catchy opener "A Fix", the melodic sound of "Driving", the memorable hit "Sometimes", the modern rock of "All The Way To The Sun", the intruiging cover of "What A Wonderful World", and the Harnell vocal magic of "Ready To Fly". All The Way To The Sun represents a great double shot for TNT fans who loved the sound created on New Religion and was definitely one of the best albums of 2005.
