Pleasant book, however not too informative. There are better women's golf books out there, for example "Golf is a Woman's Game" is really inspirational. However in all, "For all who Love the Game" makes a nice gift or an easy read, but you could do better.

Every chapter is a different lesson. It can be read and re-read. Mr. Penick has so many experiences to share. Funny, inspiring, a real joy! Great gift!

Practical look at the game of golf for women. A quick read. Very enjoyable yet sound advice.

I bought this book as a Christmas present for a female friend of mine. The amount of golf she plays wasn't a factor. I have enjoyed the three Harvey Penick books I own and look back to them for relevant anecdotes and pearls of common wisdom. I assumed (hoped) this book for women would be in the same mold.

The item looked good--just like new. It came promptly, no complaints. Only problem was that it was not a book, but rather a casette tape! Must have been my mistake, but I question how well marked it is when it's mixed in with all the books for sale. Anyway, luckily my girlfriend has an older car with a casette player! My bad! Avoid the same mistake....

Best golf book for women I have ever read.
I refer to it often.
This book is for women, it is easy to understand and it improved my game
more than anything I can think of. Buy it, read it, do it.

Unfortunately, my last purchase, which I didn't review, did not come in the advertised condition. Whiskey Island, a paperback, arrived looking used and had been advertised as "like new". It was for a gift, and being out of print, I needed it to be decent. I failed to review that time, but had high hopes for this time since it was for a ladies' golf luncheon. Everything was PERFECT. Thank you very much! The aforementioned complaint was my only one with using Amazon. All other dealings have been very satisfactory!

At 55 I decided to try my hand at golf. I was terrified. This wonderful book put me at ease, gave me some very useful and simple tips to help guide my entry to the game. It is a great read for golfers of any level or any age, but, a must for all women golfers.

This book is for golf lovers and after reading it you will also love Harvey Penick and wish you could take even one lesson from this master teacher. Buy it for your friends too!!! They will love it and you for turning them on to Harvey. ( he has other great golf books)
