3.0 out of 5 stars Lengthy Delivery
I would like to have gotten the book much sooner. I had actually forgotten about ordering it and had received 3 other books that I ordered in the mail before I got this one. The book is in descent shape, and it is exactly what I expected, but I didn't appreciate the wait time.

5.0 out of 5 stars All you can do is enough ...... IT'S TRUE!!, August 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: All You Can Do Is All You Can Do But All You Can Do Is Enough! (Mass Market Paperback)
Before 1992: I had been doing nothing and was a complete loser.

May 1992: I immigrated to Montreal and found this book by accident.

Dec 1997: I graduated at McGill University with Great Distinction.

* SOME PERSONAL ADVICE:

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GOAL YET, DON'T READ IT, IT'S GOING TO BE A WASTE OF TIME.

BUT IF YOU DO HAVE ONE, GO AHEAD AND PUT DOWN THAT $10 NOTE. I SWEAR. YOU'LL NEVER REGRET.

** SOME STATEMENTS TAKEN OUT FROM THE BOOK:

- Believe in your God-given power

- Your life from this moment is still a blank page

- The world is full of people playing at half or a third of their ability. If you go out there and do all you can do, you dramatically increase your chances of winning

- When things are though, we tend to get discouraged and do less than we've done before. Wrong! This is the worst time to slow down. The best cure for discouragement is to double your effort, so as to calm your fears and motivate you to keep going.

- You can't live for the approval of every person you meet during your life time; you've got to live for the rightness of what you're doing

- Tough time won't last. Tough people do

A. L. Williams shows in this book how average and ordinary people can do extraordinary things. This book gives examples of people who have followed Williams' simple steps and succeeded far beyond even their own thoughts and feelings could imagine. AYCDIAYCD is truly a book that gives anyone from any walk-of-life or educational background the hope to achieve the dreams. If your life is not going the way you think it should be, AYCDIAYCD is the book for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars NOT Just Another Self-Help Book, November 8, 2002

Whenever I pick up a "self-help" book, I'm always skeptical. I think, "Okay, I've been around the block before, so what can you teach me?"

In this case, Williams can teach you a lot. After reading this book, you'll feel like you can walk into the lion's den with a string of raw meat hanging from your neck and come out a winner. But as Williams warns, success is not easy. It's not for people who give up, who listen to their fears, or who will not give their all.

Williams has been there. He not only tells his story, but also other success stories. The book doesn't offer pie-in-the-sky "feel-good" philosophies, just plain, solid fundamentals that we all need. The bottom line is it's never too late to make a change. But the people who don't attempt to make their lives better never will. But what do you do? You can start by reading this book. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ths book will excite you!, November 20, 2000
This review is from: All You Can Do Is All You Can Do But All You Can Do Is Enough! (Mass Market Paperback)
Take it from the man who made the impossible possible. Starting with a $10,500 salary and outselling the Insurance giants like Pru and Met! Educating the general public to the folly of cash value insurance, "buy term and invest the rest" great strategy.I particularly like Art Williams philosophy of being devoted to a cause, having a goal that is bigger than yourself.Great book. All sales and network marketing people must read this book.dell-ites@wbtv.net

5.0 out of 5 stars A phenomenal inspiration to overcoming obstacles and winning, December 13, 1999

DAVID DOHERTY (St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: All You Can Do Is All You Can Do But All You Can Do Is Enough! (Mass Market Paperback)
This book should be mandatory reading for anyone tired of the hype and "free lunch" philosophy of most MLM ventures. A judge in this province has ordered several young offenders to read this book and write a book report as "punishment" for their crimes. Art's message that you can overcome obstacles and achieve all of your dreams without compromising your integrity and values impressed me so much that I joined the company!

I believe that in addition to turning the life insurance industry on it's ear and creating a revolution of sorts by buy term and invest the difference, A.L. Williams also did much to clean up the tainted image of MLM or Network Marketing by promoting without hype but with integrity. This book is very inspirational and motivational and a must read for anyone who wants the most from life.

MANDATORY READING for anyone jaded by the hype & "free lunch" philosophy of so many MLM ventures. A provincial Judge in this province routinely orders young offenders to complete a book report on this book as part of their rehabilitation. Art's message that you can overome obstacles and achieve all of your dreams WITHOUT COMPROMISING YOUR INTEGRITY & VALUES impressed me so much that I joined the company!

5.0 out of 5 stars If you want to know what it takes to win then reading this book is enough..., September 17, 2005
This review is from: All You Can Do Is All You Can Do But All You Can Do Is Enough! (Mass Market Paperback)
Art Williams started out as a high school football coach, earning $10,700 a year.

But he didn't stay there for long. He believed in himself enough to take a chance and be a winner.

That chance has paid off amazingly. Today, A L Williams is a billionaire.

In 2005 Forbes magazine ranked him #413 on the list of The World's Richest People with a net worth estimated at $1.6 billion (He is richer than Oprah Winfrey). So, if you want to really know what it takes to become a winner then.....reading this book should be enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read For Those Who Want More Out Of Life, September 10, 2005
Art Williams captures your attention from start to finish with this book. The book is very inspirational and hard to put down. You feel like you can achieve any dream or goal you set for yourself, and the best part is he also talks about balance in life. My husband and I both read it at the same time and fought over the book. I especially recommend it for people who are self-employed or in sales.
