Biography

Panthers are territorial animals, fiercely patrolling their stalking lands. The Sunset Strip, circa 1988, was ruled by one: a legendary band called Steel Panther. The Strip was the plangent heart of the nascent heavy metal scene, one that would soon conquer the music world, and rockers came from as far as New Jersey and the San Fernando Valley to see this band with a killer sound and habits to ... 2014 release, the third full-length album from the Hair Metal rockers. Featuring vocalist Michael Starr, guitarist Satchel, bassist Lexxi Foxxx and drummer Stix Zadinia, Steel Panther's potent blend of Metal riffing, catchy hooks and Rock 'n' Roll bravado has earned them a huge fanbase worldwide. The album features the singles 'Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World', 'The Burden Of Being Wonderful' and 'Glory Hole'.

When I first purchased the All You Can Eat, I wasn't quite sure how it worked. Then my wife came home and the results were immediate. Not only did it strip off her panties, but we gave birth immediately after, to a boy throwing up the horns.

I just picked this up a few hours ago and can't stop listening to it...these guys never cease to amaze me. In the hands of lesser bands, some of the locker room/gross-out humor might become silly or tiresome, but the songwriting here is so good that it somehow works every time. Seriously, how can a chorus containing the words "F**cking my heart in the a**" be so awesome and catchy? And classically-inspired guitar passages...in a song entitled "She's on the Rag"?? The musical prowess combined with vulgarity is remarkable and so much fun.

I won't go into rating every song, but rest assured that the Panther will take care of you -- there are killer choruses, sweet leads (Vivian Campbell guest appearance on G#ngbang at the Old Folks Home!), and many funny moments throughout. If you liked the first two albums, do not hesitate for one second to grab this one.

For a loving nod to and merciless parody of 80s hair metal excess, Steel Panther flex the best musical chops to back it up. I was looking forward to the new album and it was worth it. Fun melody and bad ass riffing underscore bro codes (Pussywhipped), the most casual of casual encounters (Gloryhole) and times of serious romance (Bukkake Tears). Sophomoric humor and brilliant music. Great job Michael, Satchel, Lexy and Sticks!

The opening of P*ssywhipped builds very slow, but it is an awesome song. Bukka*ke tears is an oddly haunting song, you're beautiful when you don't talk is the song that I was looking forward to the most (from it's use in clips) and should be Mitt Romney's theme song (because he looks like a presidential candidate should, but got in trouble for what he said at private events). Party, glory hole and wonderful (the songs with music videos on you tube) are all good. If I was the King, I was hoping this song was about Elvis (he was metal before anyone, his drummer used to play at strip clubs and Elvis wore capes and mascara!); but this song is not about Elvis.

I remember the first time I saw a Steel Panther video, all these hot girls were flashing and I thought it was too bad they must all be in their 50's now. Then they sang about Tiger Woods and I realized this was all recent! I've been a fan ever since.

This album is better than feel the steel and has a better opening than balls out (but Dane Cook's future speech was just weird to me. I'm glad I got it, I thought Bret Michaels was supposed to do a track with them though?

Seriously, great album. Disregard the funny song titles as being childish or immature. Some amazing guitar work by Satchel, lead vocals from Starr sound amazing, Stix doing a great job on the drums as usual, and Lexxi looking good as always and not really playing due to Satchel filling in for bass. Not only is this album raunchy goodness, but it's actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. It has a good mix with 80's glam "metal" with current heavy-rock/metal tones. Awesome cover for the album too, I wouldn't expect anything less from the Steel.

I actually think this album is better than Feel the Steel and Balls Out.

5/5, Fanthers will not be dissatisfied with this album.

Steel Panther's new All You Can Eat album is a blast, these guys have had in my opinion 3 excellent albums in a row and have single handedly kept the spirit of the 1980's hair metal band alive, five stars all the way. Now with that out of the way, the vinyl i got came with a big problem, DUST, DUST EVERYWHERE. As i was holding the still sealed record i could hear it sliding slightly back and forth in the sleeve and it sounded like it was scraping something, so i tore the shrink-wrap off and as i preceded to slide the vinyl out this heavy grainy dust poured out with it, just like sand on a beach except on my NEW vinyl album. Now is this the case with all produced vinyl copies of this album? I don't know, but i'm not the only reviewer who got one like this. Thankfully i was able to clean the grainy dust off the vinyl and out of the sleeve, but this is an unacceptable manufacturer mess up.

I consider myself a person of faith, and I'm not offended. Why get offended at this, when people all around the world are mocking Christianity in worse ways then this? I see it this way, they're a joke band, and nothing they do, should be taken seriously. But I can see how some people may be... Read More
