Masterful Melodies And Captivating Crooning !, June 12, 2008

The masterful melodies and captivating crooning that enrichen "All You Need Is Me" and "Children In Pieces" are delightful. Morrissey's vocals become more resonant and powerful as he ages. These are two truly fantastic and alluring songs that are instantly infectious. I'm a bit weary of Morrissey's self-absorbed and sardonic lyrics but the music and poignant singing remains perfect. Evidently, Morrissey is back in Los Angeles after living in Rome for a few years. These new songs were recorded in the City of Angels.
