Music That Honours God, June 6, 2005
This review is from: For All You've Done (Audio CD)
FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE is truly an album that seeks to honour God. The songs are bibilcally based (which is hard to find these days even among worship leaders) and each song is sung with a deep passion for God's presence. I am the type of disciple that doesn't just buy music because I like it but I seek to purchase music that honours God and His Word. This CD does just that.
The wonderful part about Hillsongs music is not just the music itself (although it is high quality) but the fact that they record the CD's with a desire to see other churches worshiping the King with a strong love as they have. While I am sure they do quite well with their sales, I believe they do desire to stir up the heart of true Spirit-led worship (John 4:24).
One final note. For those in smaller churches, FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE can be found in split trax as well and is a great addition to your music service if you lack the ability (as in our case) to play at this level. See Hillsongs website for more information.

Great Worship Music, August 4, 2005
This review is from: For All You've Done (Audio CD)
This is definitly a fav of mine out of the Hillsong worship series.Darlene is at he best here as well as the whole team.I love the very first song, which is the title song "For All You've Done".I have heard a version from the Lakewood Church, but i think Hillsong have a unique sound.I have become a fan of them since becoming a Christian in November 2004.I havnt actualy been to the conference as this is a Sydney thing, and i live in Melbourne. But one time around i am sure to go.
I love it when the play a fast song and the crown jump around and stuff, looks cool. The second song is "One Way",and that song has a very catchy tune and is very well known. Its a great song and i enjoy the next song as well "Evermore".This song gets sorta addictive, and is a definite fav of mine.Next is "With All I Am",slower but a very good song.
I love the next song "Sing",another slow one but its another realy good song also."Hallelujah",is another fav of mine from the CD,this is a long song but is a good one.I like the whole cd cant pick a bad song here, and its consistently good.

Yet Again...Hillsong's Worship is Phenominal!, September 15, 2004
This review is from: For All You've Done (Audio CD)
What a phenominal gift they possess in Sydney, Australia! The Bible says to sing to the Lord a new song and they definately do. Did you know they introduce an average of 35 news songs a year to their congregation! Talk about being good stewards of the gifts God has given! No wonder their worship ministry is world renown!
I am actually an Aussie living in America, and everytime I hear this beautiful praise to our Universal God, I am overwhelmed at how amazing He is. I own about 15 Hillsongs albums at this point, and every one of them is precious to me. The Studio albums are great, the Extravagent Worship series are wonderful, and the Live albums absolutely ROCK!!! There is something about hearing thousands of brothers and sisters praising God. Hillsongs worship goes beyond singing songs right into the rhelm of the spirit. It ministers! This new album is no different. I couldnt wait to get this one. I have been waiting since February! There is a definate feeling of reverent worship on this one. There are fast upbeat songs for sure, but even those feel reverent. Some of the the younger writers are featured this time around - Reuben Morgan (Highest, I Adore) Marty Sampson (You are my World, God is Great) and Joel Houston. Darlene only has 2 songs with writing credit. That may account for the different flavor - different and equally wonderful!
Some of my favorite "slow" tracks are "With All I am", Sing "(Your Love)", "Hallelujah" - this one is so powerful even after 9 minutes, I didnt want it to be over :) - "You are Worthy", and "More Than Life". Actually trying to pick a favorite at this point is silly because I love them all so much.
You are my World, By Your Side, Blessed, and Hope, have the same feel for me, but For All You've Done is different somehow. I just love it. I am getting the DVD for my birthday, and I cant wait to experience more fully this worship experience.
The only down side to this CD is the fact that it makes me long for home (Australia) so much! GO GET THIS CD! It is worth every single penny - and so much more
